No politician should ever have the power that McConnell has . Republican ideology and greed
McConnell wouldn’t have that power if the establishment DemocRATS in the DNC hadn’t failed so miserably in their leadership. Rewind to 2016 when Queen Hillary siphoned off funds from downline Dem. candidates to fund her own coronation, then losing to the maniac she helped to win the GOP nomination. This is political Karma at work. Hopefully, the RepubliKKKland will succeed in self destructing and in losing both senate seats in Georgia. This nation is in a world of hurt.
His power comes from being Majority Leader in the Senate. IF Democrats win two senate seats in Georgia next week he will no longer have that power. Kamala Harris will be President of the Senate and once the two parties have an equal number of members she will have the tie-breaking vote ending McConnell’s control of the Senate.
On the other hand, Kentuckians could stop re-electing that Stony-Hearted Testudines, That is unlikely. He has been their go-to guy for five terms and counting.
On the Bright Side he IS 78 so he will probably croak before too long.
@Cassandra Morrison Let us also remember that Progressive Charles Booker was outpolling McConnel in the Bluegrass State. But blocking him, counting ballots behind closed doors, and installing DINO Amy McGrath was more important to the DNC than unseating McConnell.
