Dems changed the rules so that only 51 votes are needed. They know they have no way of stopping the nomination.
@Just Doin Florida Thank you for pointing out that it was MCCONNELL who changed the rules for the SCOTUS nomination, not the Democrats. Harry Reid had to get rid of the 60 vote rule for the fedral court nominations because MCCONNELL was stonewalling all of Obama’s judicial nominations. But the rule was left in place for SCOTUS nominations until MCCONNELL got rid of it for Gorsuch’s appointment
