You may not die but who wants to be sick and continue to have a very contagious potentially deadly virus around 24/7 with everything shut down because ppl don’t even want to take the smallest precautions. There is a vaccine for the flu which is not the same as Covid in the way it effects certain ppl and you can wear a mask during flu season if you’d like, lots of ppl do.
@Siobhan Shavonne Sure there’s a vaccine. That is a preventative measure; A flu vaccine has never been required, and the flu has not been politicized as covid has. No one wants to be sick; again, we all take risks. If someone is hyperallergic to cats, i don’t have to keep my cat in a box. I can take him anywhere i want. It’s obvious polite to not throw my cat at him, but it’s his responsibility to stay away or ask.
I’m a healthy 29 year old. The odds of my dying of covid are less than hitting the lottery. If you’re terrified of covid, grab an N95 mask and stay home. However, I shouldn’t be required to stay home or my son miss school. That doesn’t make me dumb as you implied. You take as many precautions as you like. A motorcyclist has no right to tell me how to drive just because he is more likely to die in an accident.
I wonder who politicized Covid.🤔 Preventing disease and transmission and promoting health and well being is a profession for a lot of us therefore science, data, research, anaysis and facts are reality and can’t be denied. Infection control is a mission. You can make a choice to not use seatbelts, masks, water, kitty litter etc. But we have proof of what can happen when you don’t. So what’s wrong with trying to prevent things that are preventable to sustain a healthy life and environment for all of us. If you lived on earth alone it would be different. But with infection control as with so many other things, what one does effects others. Though you may not die the precautions we take are for you, me, Grandma, sick baby etc. You ARE being told how to drive daily. Speed limit, stop sign, one way street etc. and thats for a reason and it can save lives and prevent injuries. By the way, I’m allergic to cats. I’ve turned down plenty of work and not entered many buildings if there’s a cat involved and I do avoid them at all costs lol.😸😊🚦🚔🚑🏥🌼✌
