They could’ve waited until the show was over & talked it over. I’m sure Chris would’ve apologized for hurting her feelings & Will wouldn’t be banned from their award shows for a decade.
It’s an award show, so of course there were going to be jokes directed at the actors. I’ve been made fun of for my disability, which is actually debilitating. I laugh with them, tho. I be damned if I’m gonna let my disability own me like she’s apparently letting hers own her.
There’s just no excuse for what Will Smith did. There were countless better ways to handle that. A comedian shouldn’t be physically assaulted for a joke. Ever. Period.
