@Kitty Kitty That is a difficult question to answer. I retired in 2009 after twenty-seven years of service. I served in a medical unit near DC and the service members in medical tend to be close nit and more tolerant and respectful of one another. A lot of that has changed and after hearing that some of the people that stormed the capital building were ex- military, I would venture to say that service members are a lot more focused today on the current political climate than I was. Our focus was to save the fighting force and we did not pick and choose whom we were training to save. I can only hope that they will uphold the army values and let those values guide them and that they conduct themselves with honor and integrity regardless of their political views.

@mike massy There’s no pleasing these people unless you give them what they want. They want to feel as if America is theirs like the good ol days, but that’s not going to happen. Thus they want to turn to war to get their way and make everyone as miserable as they are. They rail against entitlements, but they are the definition of entitled. They don’t trust government nor want government in the their business nor pockets, but their entire mood and outlook is dependent on which party is in power in D.C. It puts a whole stain their mantra of individualism and we the people because they have become literally foot soldiers for the radical side of one of the two dominant political parties in the country. The same political party whose rhetoric fuels both their miserableness and anger. As these foot soldiers are rounded up for their actions of the last week, the leaders of the party have remain free from any legal culpability.
