It used to be a one in a thousand year event, fifty years ago. Now it’s probably a one in twenty year event. Give it ten more years and it will be an every other year event.

We left Florida due to the political ineptitude solving hot issues including red tide and the catastrophic insurance issues. Since we left, Florida has become very expensive to live in.
@bubble jim I worked with someone who sold his 5 bedroom house in New Jersey when he retired. But he didn’t just downsize. He and his wife moved to Missouri to cut the cost of living in half. They didn’t mind living in a dump state.

DeSantis got a woke up call when he left Florida. No one likes his style of drama politics. He takes on the largest source of jobs and revinue in the state. He’s a drama queen with no platform.
No one likes his style? Then how is he by far the most popular governor in America? Why were high ranking democrats seen in Florida all during the pandemic?

His biggest mistake is attacking Disney. I hear Disney’s lawyers take no prisoners.

Little Marco wants to know why the state is having a gas crisis in their state, even though he’s a state senator. It’s a subtle, spineless attack on Ron who just isn’t really all that into Florida anymore. FL seems to be into Ron, but Ron is over FL, he wants the country.

As a Floridian I’m sick of Woke this and Woke that…. His fight with Disney needs to stop! He has the Legislature is afraid of him, and the Florida Supreme Court has only DeSantis judges , and he has reached down removing judges at the District level. He is a strong man who acts like a dictator. 🇺🇸

In his second term now, Governor Ron Desantis hasn’t done anything good for Floridians. Honestly, I cannot think of 1 good thing. Plenty of failed or missed opportunities though.
