    2. True statement, but what’s worse then Facebook or Twitter is so called biased news media like cnn and msnbc giving half truths and totally biased left wing propaganda..if that’s what they want to do then fine but don’t pretend like you don’t have an agenda.. “cnn the most trusted name in news”.. what a disservice

  2. MLK-“Nothing in this world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”

    1. @Shannon Hale Sorry toots. I was commenting on your first post. You said the company made a decision modernized ( BTW it should be to modernize) then you demeaned the person by saying not much upstairs. You fail to see my point sweetie. Why now. Because the company realizes who is in the countries drivers seat. It’s Biden and the radical left who want to destroy all that America stands for or stood for. Our Oscars, Grammies, sports, schools, military, books, toys etc. It’s all about confusion. So please don’t put words in my mouth. I meant everything I said. Anyone who supports Biden and his commie policies and friends are the problem.

    2. @Shannon Hale Do you think Russia and China want our country to succeed or fail? Why would Russia or China want Trump in office.? Under Biden we will fail and are failing. If Russia interfered for Trump how come he lost? Do you think Russia wants America to have a strong intelligent leader or a frail incompetent feeble old man? Use your brain. You know how I know when Rachel is lying? Answer: When Her lips are moving. Did you ever here her say anything but negative remarks about Trump? Answer: No. Do some research on the Steele dossier also. Remember Kilimnik🤣🤣🤣🤣?

    3. @Shannon Hale Do you think it’s bad to be on good speaking terms with a nuclear super power or bad terms? Biden is more of a danger to our country right now than Putin is. Joe and Xi Jinping are the ones you should be worried about. Quit listening to the brainwashing MSM commie news networks.

    4. YES ! If it’s of fear it’s not of god,

We don’t knock on doors, we have no salaries or tax exempt, tax write off’s we don’t buy Commercial property under the guise of serving god, Once you’ve been paid you’ve been paid and you can expect nothing else, We serve God’s people homeless, Poverty, addicted(Gateway) unlike the Pope who is a Dictator and has so much wealth it truly cannot be measured,
THE POPE HAS FAILED GOD’S PEOPLE, Because he’s never been a Christian , https://biblehub.com/mark/10-25.htm
Sorry you were fooled but the Pope is not a Christian

    1. – The GOP knows this kind of stupid rhetoric about children’s toys & books is pure Gold to stir up their under-educated base of now mostly Trump supporters who after God allow them 4 yrs of a lying conspiracy theory pushing President Trump in the hope they would get 2020 vision to be able to see just how much Trump cares for the rich & despises the poor but no they have lost sight of the facts & truth now & think that somehow Mr.Trump is God’s chosen one to show them how evil the Democrats are for trying to care for everyone who is hurting either by the coronavirus or its effects it has on their personal lives of living, but no the GOP voted against the bill that would help out those hit hard by the virus & put a little extra cash in their pockets while they vote for a bill that put millions into the rich man’s pocket revealing to the US & world just the kind of hypocrite they truly are, then they talk about these children’s toys & books having changes done to them as if this is a ‘Deep-state’ plot setup by the Democrats to destroy their children’s mind & wipe out any form of Christ love from the earth, how sick is that! Fox News is so desperate at finding something bad about the Biden family that they allowed Tucker Carson to broadcast a show where he said the Biden love for each other was fake news & not real, put on by them to fool the public just to get elected, while for 4 yrs they hid & neutralized how made up Melania’s love for Trump truly is & tried to show the world it was true!

    2. Well there was the time that early life forms crawled out of the primeval swamp….. Maybe your are right.

    3. @Msgt D Oorah Bless your heart, it can actually keep beating despite the fact you have no brain.

  3. “We are possibly living in the stupidest of times” – replace “possibly” with “definitely”, then you are right.

    1. @Bruce Hall And btw, the boomers were the generation of MLK who believed that people should be judged on the content of their character, not the color of their skin. The boomers came from a generation of WWII refugees who came to America from different countries of origin, different languages, different cultures, different skin colors, different hair colors, different eye colors, and different body types. Do you really think that people with Greek or Italian heritage look like people with Swedish or Irish or English heritage? Of course not but somehow they have convinced you that all of those very disparate groups came from some homogeneous Isle of Whitelandia. The truth is that many of those groups are darker than the so called ‘brown’ races that everyone now supposedly hates. In fact, many of the so called ‘white’ people have the same DNA background as the so called ‘brown’ race. The difference is that those earlier immigrants came with the idea to give their allegiance to America first. They didn’t have separate civil rights organizations that were pushing a definition of ‘diversity’ to mean to stay with your own kind, represented by your own kind, and to look at yourself as a victim. How has that worked out since the original concept based on constitutional principles of individual rights and blind justice was replaced by group identity, group rights, and social justice? Has it made everyone happier to find so many more ways to be offended? How has a minimum of fifty years of complete Democrat rule worked out for every black neighborhood in America? Do you for some reason like high crime rates, failing schools, a lack of businesses that otherwise provide products, services, and jobs to a community? Do you like the idea of Washington bringing in ‘community organizers’ that take ownership away from the actual community members? There are basically two different models for trying to create prosperity within a community. Either push greater and greater government dependency with an ever growing upside down reward system with little individual ownership or create safe neighborhoods where businesses feel comfortable locating that provide services and products and jobs that allow the people to buy their own homes and build their own futures in communities that start centering around self sufficiency and upward mobility. We have working models of both types of communities. It has nothing to do with race. The sooner you figure out that we are one human race, the sooner we can get past the political race games the Democrats continue to double down on.

    2. But that is not to say your argument does not have its merit as well. The economy is after all very complex. Especially since the US dollar is now only backed by bulls***.

    3. @bill worden I can not read all of your reply but again thank you for a well thought out argument. Its moment like this that make dealing with the trolls worth while. And you are correct that is wrong to categorize any one so bluntly and unilaterally. That we should all be judged by our individual character. And for that I’m willing to apologize in my broader allegations. However I disagree on which political party empowers minority communities. That does not mean we can not discuss the issue rationally. But I ask which party just popped 250 peices of legislation attempting to restrict voter access? Who do these Bill’s target? Why do you think they have really been passed. And if you are correct in your assumptions why is it minorities in the country so overwhelmingly support Democrats. I mean I’m familiar with the concept of voting against your own interests
Though I suspect my philosophy differs from your own. You say the dems are just playing race games but over my lifetime I have watched which party passed what and to what extent I am able who is responsible for the major revisions on Bill’s and what I have found fallows a trend. While prone to acceptions democratic legislation puts more power, options, and resources on the table to prop up the population. Social security, food stamps and medicare just to name a few. And in the before times these had a strange thing called bipartisan support. But since Bush sr (Reagan actually) that bipartisan ideal has vanished especially on the Republican side. The Republicans push the idea that the dems are evil because they disagree and have openly stated their lack of interest in the public and social services. (Again this is target at a certain group within the party particularly within the leadership)

    4. @Bruce Hall So called ‘minorities’ support Democrats overwhelmingly because they are told every day by their elders and by politicians and their smear agents that Republicans are evil racists. It’s not hard to understand why they believe that under those circumstances, no differently than a child of someone who has been raised around kkk members would have a bad view of blacks. But where is the proof? The kkk can’t draw five people to events. They are down to something like 6000 members nationwide in a nation of 330 million.

That is why politicians work so hard to create new and improved symbols of racism to scare so called ‘poc’ to vote for Democrat protection from the evil Nazis and racists under every bed and around every corner. The MAGA hat is just the latest ‘proof’ of racism with nothing but smear to back it, no differently than when the Washington press smears Trump together with David Duke or discussion of white supremacists every time they interview him. It’s calculated propaganda by the same swamp that he promised to drain. If you don’t let anything else sink in, don’t let a day go by when you don’t recognize the fact that Democrats have controlled every single aspect of the black community for more than half a century. Let it completely sink in. They control the policies and programs, the education system, the police departments from hiring to training to policy to community interaction to discipline and on and on. There is nothing they haven’t completely controlled for at least fifty years. Then, when the results are horrible, rather than changing policy to reflect things that actually work to lift the community they instead blame the people who live on the other side of town who have nothing to do with the policies or the people involved. There is no reason that businesses that provide products and services and an abundance of job choices should be in every black neighborhood or pocket of despair in America. It’s not as though Americans don’t consume enough in order to provide enough jobs for everybody. You mentioned in another post that most of the jobs that Trump was creating would be eliminated through automation but we are in the midst of automation now, along with 10,000 baby boomers retiring every day. Even with that, Trump policies actually expanded the labor participation rate prior to the Covid shut down. Obviously, all of the numbers I have quoted are based on the three years of Trump policy prior to Covid. Otherwise, they were on a trajectory to be even better after the fourth year. If you want to argue that Trump could have somehow avoided Covid, that is a completely different subject than policies related to eliminating pockets of economic despair within America.

You also mentioned another Democrat talking point meant to defend creating dependency programs that trap people into the system, without considering programs meant to actually lift people out of the system. You wrote that people have to have money to spend before businesses will be able to hire. That would only be true if there was no money and no consumption anywhere. In reality, we are currently seeing a hundred million people per year lifted out of abject poverty and into the middle class around the planet in nations that are adopting capitalism. Factories are built in towns that previously had no industry. Every paycheck that someone working at the factory receives pumps more money into that town or city that can continue to grow as long as the government is focused on maintaining a safe place for businesses to flourish. Compare that to what the Washington social engineers have done. Then consider the reasons why Washington politicians might care more about keeping the power and control of those communities to themselves and to have the money and contracts continuing to run through their hands even though it means that the people in the neighborhood who are being ‘served’ end up owning nothing themselves.

I’d be happy to delve deeper into the subject if you are willing to pass the discussion on to others. Using the lame excuse that people are racist Nazis doesn’t cut it if we actually want to solve the problems and become an efficient and fully productive society. Much of this can be quantified. If you actually care about opportunity and upward mobility and all of the things that Washington talks about but never solves, you will look beyond their empty rhetoric and constant smear.

    1. Case in point, we let a Chinese puppet named Biden get installed and no one’s had the decency to go Lee Harvey Oswald on him yet.

    1. It’s actually vice-versa: “ignorant” just means that you don’t know something, and education can fix that… but ‘stupid’ is forever.

  4. “There is more stupidity in the universe than hydrogen, and it has a longer shelf-life.”- Frank Zappa

    1. Hard to verify. Proton decay has not yet been observed despite giant tanks of water deep underground in Japan, shielded from cosmic rays. Stupidity just gets pushed to the back of the shelf when new stupidity comes in. Rotate your stupidity people! And make sure you pronounce “stupid” correctly, with the glottal stop at the end.

    2. @gxulien Frank also said something especially insightful and appropriate in these times “America leads the world in stupidity”. I don’t know about the rest of the world, but I now think he was right on point

    3. @Alexandru Andercou
“all the stupidity in the universe is concentrated on earth and USA is an acumulation point.’

I think thats the punchline 🙂

    1. Same reason I go the zoo. To see idiots in their natural habitat so I point at them and laugh. Perhaps not the same as a zoo afterall. Animals are cute, can be fuzzy, entertaing and educational.idiots in their natural habitat are just sad

    2. @Carol Harris you pay to watch idiots in their natural habitat? Only thing I pay for is the groceries, watching itdiots in their natural habitat isn’t going to the zoo lol

    3. In this metaphor, I’m trying to go to the theater and museum and they keep fucking turning those places INTO circuses.

    4. Ask you’re self why no one can take it as a sighn to change ? Do what is sapose to be done ..right is right and wrong is wrong ..

  5. I honestly thought the “mr potatohead” was always basically gender-neutral
a lot of parts to mix and match and kids always did mix and match

    1. I agree. The move seemed unnecessary, but they made a business decision. Nobody pressured them into it.

    2. @Rich Gomez it does make a point unintentionally, how far the right-wing will go to spin anything into a conspiracy. it seems like there is a group with a definite political agenda and it’s not the people making simple forward thinking changes but rather the people with a vested interest in old ideologies.

    3. I didn’t realize Klinger(from MASH reruns on constantly in my grandparents house) was dressed in women’s clothes till I was 28.

    4. We never even bother with Mrs. Potato head, just got the parts & 2 potatoes. i’m wondering if they want to make it gender neutral for trans gender kids???

  6. Well the ‘Ken and Barbie’ style gendered dolls were never that specific as to have actual sexual organs. They were always null-gender dolls.

    1. They’re not null-gender, though. They have incredibly heightened secondary sexual characteristics, regardless of their missing doodads.

  7. “There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that “my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”
    —Isaac Asimov

    1. @Gary Hoelting HI Gary, The detail is for the very few that will actually read long efforts. Direct confrontation is useless, but detailed information may offer alternatives to a convoluted reality for those remotely capable. And liberals do better with more clarity as well. It’s been little comprehended that the radical right GOP has been pushing this big money controlled fascist effort for fifty years starting in earnest with the Powell Memo of 1971, which became the battle plan for money to cooperate to change the public narrative. And big money in cabal has power and patience. Far too long progressives and horse race reporters have ignored the deliberate lies and spin of special interests fronted by GOP for which lies, spin and disingenuous bad faith have been let slide as just the opinion of the “opposition”. “Good faith” was not present as authoritarians decided those that opposed righteous special interests were “the enemy” if not “commies”. Hence, end justifies the means has increased in it’s boldness to the point we have now. Unmitigated authoritarian insistence that they can do anything they damn well please, create any alternate reality, and sell it to their “base”. That base is the fairly recently created “tea party” mentality that is rooted in simplistic black and white memes for propaganda echo chambers.

In short: It’s time to put on our bigboy pants and recognize the fascist shift that has pushed into evil territory. Vice President Henry Wallace’s 1944 NYT op/ed layed out the danger nicely. As did Jefferson’s 1816 letter to Samuel Kerchival even more to the point. Wallace would have been a spectacular president, but the powers that be got him thrown off the ticket as he was too popular, and threatened the status quo as controlled or tolerated on both sides when you feed both to varying degrees and take the winner.

Direct confrontation won’t work, save for the BS crazy radicals, which are FBI territory. We have to be gentle but firm with the mudwhumps to bring them down to earth if possible. But be vigilant, lest they take your head off. Then the spineless GOPers that love to jump in front of thusly created bandwagons will find their parades dwindling. Ignoring the lies is no longer an option. Do what you can:) That includes inspiring any in power as feasible…no stone unturned. Too many are not as yet up to speed on the depth of the threat. But sunlight can still disinfect. This is not a drill.

    2. @George Roberts I hope enough can see the truth, because I was shocked how many voted for trump, after 4 years of that narcissistic ,compulsive liar, who did nothing but golf.

    3. @Gary Hoelting Hope is a side effect of Love. And Love is the highest vibration. In truth, we are spiritual creatures having a human experience. Raising the general vibrational level is the hope. But the possibility that humans are too stupid for democracy let alone continued existence is a distinct one. Still, Hope is a side effect of Love…which just goes with the territory:)

    4. @Gary Hoelting , you sound like programmed parrot ! And you just insult others without reason ! I am independent and I voted for Trump 2020 , and do you know why , because his implemented act “right to try “ saved my life ! I am cancer patient and my medication is AG-120 ! Google it instead of spreading obtuse anger ! Nobody is perfect ! You need to use your own analysis and logic not emotions or media narratives to understand why so many people had voted for trump !

    1. You love the fact that Cupp’s is misleading at best .. The meaning of correct’ must have changed in Cnn world.

  8. “We are possibly living in the stupidest of times” … just short of the Dark Ages. I have no doubt we will continue this perilous journey.

    1. It’s unfortunate but it’s true, I did have some hope years ago when Obama was elected, he wasn’t perfect but who is, I thought he would actually bring Americans together, but instead the ugliness and depth of racism in your country only grew worse, fed by people like Greene, Limbaugh, Alex Jones and the Ted Cruz’s of the US. We see it here too in Canada, it’s friggin scary, the low info voter to lazy to look it up themselves keeps sending these willfully ignorant types to keep making things worse. Vicious cycle I’m afraid

    2. @Marco B I lived through both the obama and reagan administrations. Racism was worse back in the 80’s.

    3. Well stupidity is a factor in reducing or eliminating the gene pool… not saying Neanderthals were stupid – they had to deal with changes due to axis flipping. Guess what’s happening right now?

  9. “No more plastic straws in paper
Just paper straws wrapped in plastic, congratulations

People are so stupid, why are y’all so stupid?”

    Tom MacDonald

  10. Matthew 5:4
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
