Separation of church and state, but which should be dominant? The state should be. Discrimination shouldn’t be allowed based on religion. Any “religion” that does shouldn’t be taken seriously and I guess that’s all of them.

@David Doesn’t matter where morals come from. The issue is whether and to what extent individual’s possess them and put them into practice. Practically speaking, the Catholic Church is a bastion of immorality in the manner in which it has protected pedophile priests and allowed the sexual abuse of children to flourish.

Yes it did. And the decision was UNANIMOUS. The city of Philadelphia can’t cancel a preestablished, legally binding contract because it doesn’t agree with CSS’s religious views.
The Constitution absolutely prevailed here. Protection of religious liberty is a cornerstone philosophy!
