Hurricane Ian strengthened into an "extremely dangerous" Category 4 storm and roared to the brink of Category 5 status, its maximum sustained winds blasting at 155 mph as the west coast of Florida braced for landfall Wednesday afternoon.

"It is going to have major, major impacts in terms of wind, in terms of rain, in terms of flooding," Gov. Ron DeSantis warned in a briefing Wednesday. "So this is going to be a nasty, nasty day, two days."

More than 140,000 homes and businesses in South Florida already were dark early Wednesday, according to the tracking website poweroutage.us. Power outages should be expected statewide, Florida Power & Light warned.

    1. Ok see, this makes me take my comment back about the pic being fake…still looks fake, but now it’s more believable that the pic came from a plane then a satellite 🛰️ orbiting space 🙄

    1. @Hełłø What do I also know about Texas? Did you notice that Texas has these hobby stores? As a matter of fact, they have; quite a number of Hobbytown USA stores. I even looked it up on the ‘You Tube’ channel. It was no surprise to me. The Texas residents even distributed, the Hobbytown USA TV commercials. Even though Texas doesn’t have an SNL {Saturday Night Live} comedy show studio, like what New York has. 😳 📺 🖥

  1. Imagine they were amping up the storm with HAARP and that’s why we see lightning . Weather modification tech has been around for decades. How do you think they removed fog from the Vietnam jungles ? Through geo engineering

  2. GeoEngineering: the deliberate large-scale manipulation of an environmental process that affects the earth’s climate
