Sanders Defends His Record, Says He 'Felt Good' About SC Debate | The 11th Hour | MSNBC

    1. I love how Sanders insists the audience is a group of wealthy people and therefore don’t support him – and his supporters here are now talking about Bloomberg paying double the cost to fill the audience with people to Boo- Sanders when he praises Fidel Castro’s push for literacy to brainwash Cubans.

What a sad group Trump Zombies stumping for Sanders.

    2. ITs all rigged. Everything is fake.. I dont even think the viewers a real…
This is getting really reallly stupid

    3. This is crazy, $15 minum wage is dangerous to the economy, minimum wage jobs are not careers. They are starter jobs for high school students, if minimum wage goes up so will for example the price of milk and bread and everything else. If you go to college for 4 years for under water basket weaving and gender studies and cant find work that is on you. I and other citizens should not have to foot the bill of the situation you put yourself in because you have debt now. Absolutely loonecy.

    1. @kay armstrong Biden is a shell of his former self. Kudos to his staff for their excellent skills in necromancy to reanimate him, only for the potion to wear off in the second half of the debate.

    2. @z2Utube I honestly feel sorry for him, it’s seriously verging on elder abuse to get him to do all this campaigning. Like, his brain just short circuits from time to time, and it’s clearly getting worse, not better.

Guess it’s yet more necromancy to come, sigh 🙁

    3. @Matt D You’re right, I agree. Especially after he recently introduced himself as someone running for the US senate to the SC crowd on Monday, I genuinely felt sad for him. My hope is that voters in SC can see through the fact that he’s become out of touch with reality, they’d make the right choice, which is in a sense the final nail to the coffin to the “most electable” myth.

  1. Bernie is not talking about millionaires, he is talking about Billionaires. That’s with a B. Big difference in what a millionaire with a Porsche and a Billionaire who owns Comcast or the Washington post can do to the population. It’s not the 1% that’s the problem, it’s the 0.01%. I’m going to donate $15 to Bernie now.

    1. JUST 1 BILLION divided by 100 YEARS = $1,144 per hour ! Berg’s got $62 BILLION. Divided by 100 YEARS = $70,970 PER effin HOUR !!!!! I’m $ure he knows what it’s like for the peasants !!!!!!!!!!!!!! [ps. He’s 78 – Maybe 20yrs left ? = $354,853 per hour !! He’s gonna struggle. Poor thing]

  2. DNC trying to frame audience and questions against sanders. other reports showed a ticket costing wayyy more than 1750 for this debate.

    1. Kristi Marie – Perhaps, but you don’t honestly believe these hack “moderators” are any more objective towards Sanders than they are towards Trump. Even when Biden was the front-runner, most of moderators were more aggressive towards Sanders (Senator Warren, how did you feel when Bernie said a woman couldn’t win even though he just said he never said that).

    2. Half the party disagrees with u..
IF half the party is nervous about an issue or a candidate, then the media will ask about it
      That’s their job!!!!
There is a real concern that some parts of the country wont vote to far left
Wisconsin is almost surely a win for TRump with Bernie.
Some of the other swing states are also more at play

We need to focus on turning out new voters, not arguing with other dems or the DNC
THE votes are all that will matter
WE NEED ALL BERNIE SUPPORTERS TO HELP!!!!
Get new voters to showup in mass

    1. @Toro Loco Bernie was going against 5 candidates, the planted audience, and biased moderators and came out on top. No one watching that debate thinks that crowd just happened to love everything that came out of Biden/Bloombergs stumbling mouths and booed everything Sanders had to say.

    2. Each ticket was a few thousand dollars. Average Joe couldn’t buy it. Bloomberg prepaid the audience. He even mentioned it during the debate as his so called rich black voters in the audience.

    3. @kay armstrong I think your right about SC and I am soooooo happy he will. Nothing could be better for Sanders than for the bunch below him to keep sharing second place. Biden wins SC and almost splits the delegates with Bernie. Bernie just gains even more distance since Warren and Pete will be shut out or get barely anything !

  3. What makes me sad is that we will probably never have another candidate or politician like Bernie anymore. Also very afraid that the RNC and DNC will sabotage his chances again..everyone please donate and vote for Bernie.

    1. @EAT THE RICH I’m not familiar with MSM, but I agree, people really need to do proper research to be informed outside of typical norms.

    2. Well, there’s AOC and other Justice Democrats. While they sometimes get stuck on identity politics too much, I still deem them strong enough to withstand the metaphorical radiation of corruption in Washington long enough to ‘repair the reactor leaks’ of your nation. 😛

  4. Tom Perez still trying to rig this thing. His favoritism for Bloomberg is obvious. $1750 a debate ticket. How many did Bloomberg buy? Will Perez give us a straight answer?

    1. @Zombie Jesus : yes, he is like Trump, only rich, not broke, and he is somewhat fluent in at least one language. They are both equally bad at faking understanding humor.

    2. Krystal Ball: did the DNC rig the debate audience? -~- the 10.23 yt video (by The Hill) Especially the 2.33 mark !!

    3. This is crazy, $15 minum wage is dangerous to the economy, minimum wage jobs are not careers. 1. Most people thst Sanders Speaking for were shot out of attending and the spotlights as usual. He should’ve simply bring it up on the stage.

    1. @RayBC I agree as far as Chris Matthews is concerned. However, maybe Phil Griffin should pass the word to Morning Joe.

    2. Bernie did a great job of picking Shaquille Brewster, he knew he was the least dismissive from MSNBC and he needed to get a deep thought in that lasted more than 45 secs after that ridiculous mess of a debate. Right before Super Tuesday

    3. Ben Frank
I don’t thing they really can. They have incentives and priorities that go beyond ratings. They cannot become cheerleaders for a populist leftist movement like Bernie’s because it’s directly in conflict with the interests of their corporate and political masters.

    1. @Dularr The money being paid for the treatments will inherently be enough to cover those costs. Hospitals arent going to close because of it, that is a little dumb..

    2. @Arca Jeth No, Medicare for All does not cover the cost of healthcare. Again, I’m okay with universal healthcare, it’s just Medicare for All does not work.
I like a lot of the plans from the rest of the world. Sweden uses a decentralized plan. Where local areas pay for their healthcare. I would love to see a US state implement universal healthcare. Maybe even Bernie home state of Vermont.
Briton uses a state funded system cal NHS, which is paid for through payroll taxes. But when tax revenue goes down, they have to ration medicine and procedures. As far as I can tell, Medicare for All does not include a rationing method. Hospitals would provide unlimited, medically necessary procedures, until they close because the federal payments do not cover the cost of providing healthcare. Now the closest the US has for that type of system is the VA, which if funded through government appropriations. But that is rationed to veterans.
There are plenty of plans, it’s just Medicare for All is not a good one.

    3. @Arca Jeth What is stupid is thinking the Medicare for All plan is magic. It’s fuzzy thinking to believe if the cost of providing a healthcare procedure cost more than the reimbursement rate for Medicare for All, that some how all the hospitals will stay open. Some will stay open and others will close. As state and local government pick and choose which ones to save.

  5. Interviewer: Do you think your debate performance wasn’t all that good tonight?
    Bernie: Nah, we did fine.
Interviewer: Are you suuure you think you did okay tonight…? ‘Cause my bosses would love it if you said you didn’t…

    1. I think he was more than fair to Bernie. He also allowed him to respond to some attacks and clarify things.
When things are rigged it’s important to not get carried away with the conspiracy theories and give credit where it’s due.

    2. Ya mon Da Troll

Why do you think its better to make things up than to talk about what Sanders actually said? 🤔

      I know the answer.

    1. @RJ Patel I googled it. Interestingly enough, the NC had the prices on their site. Once they began being questioned about it, the prices were taken down.

    1. @Maurice Lucious Trump wanted to retroactively impeach Obama. To bad Trump can’t find a way to get himself our from under the shadow of his predecessor.

    2. This is crazy, $15 minum wage is dangerous to the economy, minimum wage jobs are not careers. They are starter jobs for high school students, if minimum wage goes up so will for example the price of milk and bread and everything else. 6. Finally a politician who talks about the Palestinian people and he’s Jewish , I wish I could vote for him but I’m Scottish

    1. @Brian Ellsworth My degree cost about one tenth of what it would cost today, in real terms. But that hardly matters. Having an educated workforce is good for the economy. As more education is required for better jobs, we should increase the amount of education that is publicly funded because it is good for the society as a whole.

Yet you still avoid my question.

    2. @Sean Patrick You know there once an independent Democracy in South East Asia. It was established by the UN in 1949. It was a compromised Democracy and in the early years, it was ruled poorly. I was there from 1967 to 1969. Bernie at that time did not think it should exist and it would be better ruled by the communist. He was a hardcore socialist activist. We abandoned a nation that aligned with the UN and it led to the deaths of millions. He inherently believes the government control is superior to industrial control. We live in a democratic republic. This means we are a nation by the people for the people with an elected president, but nothing more or less.. Industry, in general, has always been good to me. The government has been a bottomless pit that is never satisfied. They always have the same solution to a problem and never fix the problem. Without industry, we will all live impoverished and the government will continue putting bandaid on all the social ills.

    3. @Brian Ellsworth You do realize that you just wrote “independent democracy” followed by, “established by the U.N.”
Is irony completely lost on you?

This in no way addresses my question. The BS you get from fear mongering websites is ridiculous. We live in 2020 and you have nothing to add but your own willfully ignorant biases.

    4. @Sean Patrick We have an abundance of underemployed graduates as it is . That’s why they can’t pay for their education

    1. @Barking_Mad Nah, I’m just not a fan of Sanders being a liar and his supporters suddenly proclaiming him having millions means millions isn’t a lot of money.

But yeah, Bernie Sanders is probably flying somewhere on a private jet now, certainly not on his personal money.

    2. @EAT THE RICH talk about changing history-they nationalized the oil companies operating there, after that there production started falling, they did not have qualified people to keep it running as before-chavez did that at the time maduro was a cab driver, lol how old are you like 12

    1. Dont forget we will need massive voter turnout to make this happen…BE proactive
We need all BErnie supporters to bring new voters with them..
MAke a piont to get at least one new voter to show up
Drive them,, call them,,, remind them, help the register,, what ever it takes

    2. I’m sick of hearing this wealthy elite stuff. The wealthy elite can stay wealthy…doesn’t affect/bother me. Jealously is a terrible thing.

    3. This is crazy, $15 minum wage is dangerous to the economy, minimum wage jobs are not careers. 1. that_pac12 – Agreed. This is one of the most pressing issues for working class Americans, especially in the Midwest.

    2. @redletter2008 He was asked by interviewer about Israel to which he gave a measured and sensible response that dared to suggest the common sense idea that to end the conflict there you need to address the needs of both sides.

    3. Unlike Trump, Sanders will actually invite Palestinians to the table where they are discussing the future of the Palestinians.

    1. we will need massive voter turnout to make this happen…BE proactive
We need all BErnie supporters to bring new voters with them..
MAke a piont to get at least one new voter to show up

  7. Now this is the media exposure Bernie should have had 4 years ago. Oh well. That was then, this is N🔥W! Hindsight is 2020 and so is Bernie. #FeelTheBern2💙2💙
