  1. GOP no longer represent their constituents, they represent themselves for their own interest – power.

    1. @Christine King and nationally D.C taking rights away for states. You need to educate yourself genius

    2. @Paul Wheeler You are either a) a troll, b) a white supremacist (you do realize the folks that reside in DC are American citizens, even though the majority is Black), or utterly stupid. Perhaps, all three. Buhbye.

  2. Interesting.
Voting is harder than buying a firearm eh?
“Change comes down the barrel of a gun” – Mao Zedong.

    1. Forgetting about the necessary background checks to get a gun? You don’t need a background check to vote. What makes it so hard to vote? By asking for ID? To verify your signature and address? Oh, that’s so unfair and inconvenient.

    2. @A / V
We have had the most secure election in American history.
I’m sure if the shoe were on the other foot you wouldn’t whine and complain today gramps.

    3. @B. T. the most secure in fraud.. changing the rules last minute without state legislature isn’t secure

  3. The American Obstructionist Party (formerly the GOP) will not sign to ANYTHING with Democrat DNA on it. They could be trying to award apple pie a medal and they would say no. Everything with Trump was transactional … everything with the ‘PubliKKKlans is tactical in that you must never give the opposition a ‘win’ … and if you can use it to deliver a mugging, all the better.

  4. In 1986, 85% of voters were non-Hispanic white people.
    In 2018, it was 74%.

republican’s are on their last legs here. So don’t expect their voter suppression efforts ease up. It’ll just get more desperate.

    1. They better jump on or they going down like their Daddy inna ball of flames. The loser lost the House, Senate and the presidency. And they continue marinating in there Filth

  5. The GOP members liken themselves to reality tv stars that were lucky enough to make the cut‼️Like old Saturday nights in the smoky coliseum watching wrestling
🇺🇸🤦‍♀️♾🧩 Our democracy is in a shambles of nonsense and destruction…ashamed at what our country has fallen to.

    1. This is what the “news” does. Corporate news agencies target a specific audience and spew bias nonsense (propaganda) to maintain the audience via a toxic echo chamber. This, in the process, divides and distracts the public from establishment interests and makes the public easier to manipulate.

  6. There’s a simple answer for dealing with the Republican Party on the voting issue!!! ENFORCE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT 14 SECTION 2!! The rules of Constitutional Amendment 14 Section 2 says that states that infringe on voter rights will be penalized by losing their seats in the House of Representatives.

  7. Well let’s take a look. 1882, as a result of the Chinese exclusion act Chinese lose the right to citizenship and the right to vote. 1924 American Indians are granted citizenship and the right to vote. 1943 the Chinese were given citizenship and the right to vote. 1971 person who were 18 to 21 years of age could now vote.

  8. brilliantly said, ty both. the gqp has made voter suppression a part of their platform for generations. only in the last 5 years or so have they been so open about it, well since the mid-1960s anyway.

  9. We need to counter these 43 states, who just passed state voter suppression laws, by getting rid of the Filibuster, and immediately pass the HR 1 Bill, to totally stop the Voter Suppression. Federal Bill HR 1 would override the 43 states who support voter suppression, to prevent minorities from voting 🗳 DEMOCRATS SUPPORT AND PASS HR 1. Eliminate the Filibuster…

  10. Voting should be simple. I need to mail in my ballot. It’s very embarrassing to hear people talking poorly about American politics.

  11. Yup…..dumbing down the vote! I can vote in my easy chair eating Cheetos! Easy!…..no ID…..no vote!
