No air defense system is the best, If they fired 200 missiles at once I doubt a few dozen batteries are going to stop them.
It might take dozens of people but it only takes three to use it in battle
Instead of Patriot missiles why not just send Ukraine the proper tools to destroy the drones at source.
if Ukraine is quite on the matter, it is likely they are building something behind the scenes to counter it and could be just having backstage deals to get components in. Patriots aren’t really for the drone, it is for ballistic missiles or bigger, such as ICBMs and warheads (might be from NK)
I hope and pray that Kremlin will soon be a good target for the Ukrainian army…

3-5 million per patriot missile makes it impractical to use it to target drones.
Be a good deterrent against high altitude bombers though.

The Patriots should only be used for Russian Cruise Missiles which are a greater threat and can travel much faster than the Iranian made Drones, 20mm or 30mm AA Guns can easily take out the Iranian drones since their speed is around 120 mph and are propeller driven.
There aren’t enough of the expensive, large Patriot missiles to use against the many cheap Iranian drones, even though CNN didn’t mention that.
Really does take quite a ‘gymnastic’ sort of mindset to conclude that a missile defence system can escalate a conflict. Which it started.
This missile system sounds amazing. I looked up some specs and holy crap. It seems to be the most advanced one on the planet. Now I wonder how they pick their targets, with each missile being like $2mill.
Now that Russia attacked Kyiv, I wonder if Ukraine has more of those long range drones to hit some actual military targets, rather than apartment buildings the stupid Russians are hitting. When do you think they’ll understand that doesn’t work and it’s a huge war crime. They’ve always done it like that, flattening entire cities, and gotten away with it. This time they’re against the modern, free world, and only a tiny part of it, and they can’t handle it, so they lash out in desperation.
