Russian troops will withdraw from the crucial port city of Kherson, according to the commander of Russian forces in Ukraine.

The announcement was met with skepticism by Ukrainian officials, who have been wary their troops may be lured into a trap by Russian forces girding for urban warfare in the industrial city on the west bank of the Dnipro River.

its a trap
Sure they are.
That’s embarrassing for russia
@Henry oh do you? I doubt that lol let me guess you think men can be women now
@Gurtius Maximus I don’t believe that either idiot 😆
@Henry of course not you’re not stupid
You wouldn’t believe our tax dollars are better spent in Ukraine either
@Gurtius Maximus Damn dude you make ALOT of assumptions, you think you have all the answers huh?
@Henry the world isn’t that complicated
If the government controlled media is telling you something, it’s wrong.
I don’t believe them at all. They offered clear & safe passages for Ukrainian citizens, then either unalived them or captured them. I think they did that a few times in different places.

Great news, thank you USA Today for sharing!!!
Good news! Amazing day!
I can only hope this is real and that Russia is rethinking this stupid war idea.
No matter what excuses they feel the need to tell.
“Withdrawal” 😂
Believe it when I see it. It appears though they are only giving up the east side of the river, not the entire area.
Hence “city of Kherson”. Not hard to read, they didn’t say the whole area lmao
@DankSpaceCat the city is on BOTH sides brainiac
Listening to Ukrainian news they are not playing it up as much as western media. Russians have actually brought in more soldiers to supplement what was already there. Ukrainians are expecting a Stalingrad-type showdown.
1Thessalonians 5:1-3. Let them cry “Peace and Security.”
Great News!
They’re leaving now that there’s nothing left.
What’s left to stay for?
Or they got ran out by Ukrainian military but instead of accepting defeat, they’re like…We were leaving anyway.
Last time Russia pulled out of Ukraine land, rockets and drones came in. Don’t celebrate yet…
There has been to much devastation and life loss on both sides, time to end it..
If the U.S. and NATO never got involved, it never would have started.
So now there concerned about civilians!🤦🏻♂️The fact is that the best fighters in the former Soviet Union came from Ukraine, not Russia. Pick a fight with the best die with the rest. Slava, Ukraine.
Your confused. The citizens they are referring to are the Illegal Annexed regions .

Does it not seem odd that Russia would publicly announce a military strategy?!?! 🙄
“…Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near.”
– Art of war
Same here…I smell a trap, especially after urging civilians to leave as well
