Russia either got paranoid thinking Storm Shadow was coming to get them or Ukraine just moved an air defense launcher closer to the border and started taking down planes over Russia before they could send missiles into Ukrainian apartment buildings and civilians.

If it was friendly fire the most likely cause was was someone didn’t update their IFF transponders.
