How about less spending?
The choices were: βI strongly supportβ & βI supportβ probably, because no Canadians in their right state of mind would support higher food, gas & living prices.
Who care about covid?
In a recent interview with Gen Rick Hillier (Ret) he brought up that the issue is not just spending but the quagmire of the purchasing process we have. I think most Canadians want to feel safe, letting the Armed Forces get what they want with even a modest increase will do that if you can stop Supply and Service interference. Our new fighters and fixed-wing SAR aircraft projects ran long overdue because of their “help”.
