Russia faces setbacks as Zelensky rallies Ukraine’s allies

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in the United Kingdom to meet with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, days after the UK delivered multiple "Storm Shadow" cruise missiles to Kyiv. The meeting is part of Zelensky’s tour of European capitals providing Kyiv with weapons that have helped Ukrainian forces to cause Russian setbacks across key cities. #CNN #News

  1. The sheer amount of approving and cheering comments by ordinary Russians under videos about the atrocities committed against civilians and prisoners of war in Ukraine were no less shocking to Ukrainians than the war itself.
We somehow got used to the war, but the realization of who we have been living next to all this time without even knowing it is still terrifying.
Those barbarians called themselves our brothers.
Imagine what they would do to you, who they call their enemies, if you let them.
Not supplying weapons to Ukraine under the pretext of achieving an early peace is like allowing a violator to violate his victim in order to end the violence as soon as possible.

    1. Simply point to the appeasement policy during the rise of Nazi Germany. We’ve been here before… History on repeat, one might say.

Except this time, the aggressor isn’t all-powerful. Russia’s military might puts North Korea to shame.

    2. @Randy Watson well I hope you are getting some treatment for your dementia. Really sorry for you as you wont get better but perhaps more truth will help you cope πŸ˜¬πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€˜πŸ€˜πŸ€˜πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦

  2. What do you call a Russian tank battalion returning to Russia? An infantry squad.

    1. @Kyle KyleRussia took City of Kherson too and called it ‘forever Russian’
      what happened? πŸ˜‚

  3. In February of las year most experts expected Ukraine to surrender within a week. Now over one years into the war Ukraine is standing tall and proud and Russia is on the back foot. What an inspiring performance by the Ukrainians!

    1. @M What about the death Wagner nazis many of them have the swastika tattoos

  4. Every Russian force in Ukraine should know that American weapons will come for you and they will make sure you will end as fertilizer on a territory who belongs to someone else and you should never have set your feet on. Slava Ukraini πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦

    1. @crushnev nikita Even before they have been deployed and n Ukraine. I know Russians invented a time machine. But why cant you invent something to keep your women in Russia. They all go to Turkey and Egypt for adult Entertainment.

  5. Just fantastic that the allied team continues to solidify in the defense of the Ukrainian civilian and military units.
    Bring the pain Ukraine ❀❀

    1. @Kyle Kyle Doesn’t matter. They have 1 million standby troops and western weapons and tactics.
Took RuZZis 10 months to gain Bakmuht, and now they are being incircled.
If you place your bet on RuZZia, you will lose.
      edit, 85% of Bakmuht

    2. @Lasse madsen wait I thought you were talking about NATO. Do you actually think Ukraine has a million troops on standby? That’s complete fiction.

  6. VZ is so smart to keep visiting his key suppliers and supporters to keep them informed, thank them and to make sure they know what the needs are.

  7. The Russian army ran away from Bakhmut faster than Josh Hawley ran through the US Capitol.

  8. Zelenskyy’s uniform is powerful, I think. It shows he’s never *not* commander-in-chief. Whatever he’s doing, wherever he is, it is wartime. πŸ˜•

  9. The look Zelensky gave Sunak’s platitudinal waffling says it all… pretty much the difference of a career politician who’s never been tested against anything, and a non-politician who’s seen the worst of humanity being inflicted on his home country on display right there. It’s good that the UK and Europe pledge their support, it’s the right thing to do both strategically and ethically, and yet (for now at least) none of those other heads of state will ever grasp what a monumental service this man has given his country and the world, in standing defiant against Putin’s warcrimes.

    1. β€œMonumental service” is an excellent choice of words. Very well said. πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

    1. Who would’ve thought the Russian military would be shown to be an international joke?

  10. Im a german citizen and so glad that Germany is stepping up its military support to Ukraine. Finally. Slava Ukraini πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ

    1. Anyone with half a brain will appreciate all Germany has done for Ukraine. The reputation for “stalling” can of course be discussion worthy, if done in earnest, but 99 percent of the time it’s just click baiting.

  11. Through this connection pain may be reduced from the brain, heart and burning houses of both countries.

  12. Why does Youtube censor their shared videos? They take money from the people producing the videos posted on their platform, but turn right around and censor said video when shared.

  13. The meeting between PM Sunak and President Zelenskyy was not held in London. They met at the Prime Ministers’ official country residence, the 16th century manor house named Chequers. It is near Aylesbury, some distance northwest of London.

  14. What’s the update on Ukraine’s forces’ access to ample GPS for drone recon plus artillery’s & munitions’ guidance systems?

  15. “i don’t need a ride, i need amunition.”
And Zelensky is making sure he’s getting as much as he can.
