An Atlanta-area grand jury investigating former President Donald Trump's attempts to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia has subpoenaed a handful of key Trump allies, including his former attorney Rudy Giuliani and South Carolina Sen. @5 It’s also one of the largest urban areas in the entire country, so of course they would have a higher crime rate. It’s a dense area, with many many more people than the national average.
If their actions constituted violations of any statutes, just prosecute them on that basis. Lots of procedural theatrics regarding these matters don’t make any sense. And no one should be above the law. A sitting president or senator committing a crime should be prosecuted right there and the. They should be held accountable to even a higher standard and not the other way.
I have a feeling that this is going to be their last chance to come clean before charges are filed.
