I have never been nor do I want to go on a cruse. Given the times, I can’t imagine being cooped up with people that, any one of them could be a potential mass murderer and there’s nowhere to go but overboard, the only thing worse is public air travel, besides that I’m too much of an introvert, all those people, all over the ship for days would drive me crazy.

I don’t know why people are so curious to why I stay home it’s what I choose to do I have no family like I said my health is not all that great period and the truth is it’s no fun to go anywhere without a friend. It’s not that I don’t have any friends they’re just not interested in the things I’m interested in I’m more interested in nature Thor more interested in drinking and being stupid. So I choose to stay home I’m content. And if other people can understand well to hell with them. We went on a full weeks cruise right before the shutdown no issues not one case! Now fully vaccinated and ready to cruise you scared stay home!!!

@Doug H Negative. I agree that Florida is a convenient dumping ground, that explains the Orange man and Desantis presence there. International and Federal law have sole jurisdiction here. Yes, you can close your ports to international traffic, but that’s it. The waters are Federal domain. There is no shortage of alternatives for embarkation/debarkation. There business is international. 95% of acute COVID-19 cases requiring hospitalization are now unvaccinated people. Will Desantis or Trump pay for their care?

I went on a Royal Carribean cruise back in early 2000’s. It was an experience I didn’t care to repeat. I don’t need a pandemic to keep me away from cruises.
Who ever gets on a cruise ship during Covid 19 should go straight to Gilligan’s island.. A cruise ship is full of germs . Do not return to the USA.
They should make these cruise ships little slices of Republican heaven…no masks, no vaccinations required, and everyone can bring their guns.
