The traitorous aspects of the republican party were developing and maturing long before Trump came along. There has not been an honest and honorable republican president since Eisenhower and the party has been corrupted for over 100 years.
Even Richard Nixon, at his very worst, was not remotely as awful as what we have now. The real question now is only this: will Trump even allow another election to go forward in November of 2020; or will he simply declare himself emperor?
