  1. Any of the 50 British special forces put at risk by this action should be allowed a minute or two with this young man.
Not as a punishment, but to give him an insight into the consequences of his actions.

  2. Shouldn’t there be better security around classified documents? DT walked away with classified documents, a kid walked out with them. Doesn’t seem like a very secure way of keeping documents.

    1. @Matthew Johns Why are you capitalizing the word files, is it someone’s name? Your family’s situation was not this guy’s situation. Either he had the authority and the ability to access these documents, or someone else who did allowed him to do so. Finding all that out is what trials are for, not uninformed speculation in the comments sec ion of a YouTube video.

  3. Know who else is NOT a Mastermind?? The folks who are supposed to make sure these docs don’t easily get into the hands of 21 year old gamers.

    1. He’s an IT agent, my guess is he was looking over open documents when someone had a computer problem

  4. Such young soldiers should not be given access to hard drives full of secret documents. It is asking for leaks to happen.

    1. @Bad Wolf Media there are systems that check for cell phones and cameras when entering areas where there is access to classified information. someone let this kid through without checking for cell phone, which he subsequently used to take the photos.

  5. Raises the question why wasn’t all this information encrypted at the very least? Also means to decrypt only to applicable high-level personnel.. Any junior officer, be it IT/Intelligence has absolutely no valid reason to access information of this security level. Live and learn i guess.

  6. The fact that the leakers are not mastermind criminals makes the whole thing so much more concerning.

    1. That’s exactly what I was thinking. It’s like the adults who let their kids play with a gun. The adults are part of the problem.

  7. *Quotes continued* “He’s fit. He’s strong. He’s armed. He’s trained. Just about everything you can expect out of some sort of crazy movie,” the member said.” “He was the leader of a group of young gamers who loved guns, military gear, and God, per the outlet.” “OG said he worked on a military base and sent his gamer friends hundreds of secrets, per WaPo.”

  8. *Quote continued* : “Obviously the Discord Sever is encrypted, but the other thing is, who are the individuals that we are trusting this information to? Based on what we know about Teixeira. He’s 21. He was in a gamer discord group with a bunch of teenagers”

  9. Don’t know why anyone would do this. Someone is trusted with information that must be kept secret to keep people safe, then they betray that trust and those people.

    1. They’re a young adult with an immature brain. They lack critical-thinking skills. The brain isn’t fully formed/matured until 25 years old. Supposedly he started in 2020, which would’ve made him 19 years old. I hope they fire his superiors. He’s looking at years in prison. I wonder if he’ll be tried in a military court. v

  10. He is an IT agent, my guess is he was looking over open documents when someone had a computer problem

  11. What do you expect? We allow politicians to get away with mis handing of classified documents and emails. That sends a message. Anyone who does these things should go to prison for life at the least.

  12. Historically, more often than not, intelligence leaks come from comms personnel – those running the communications networks. Now we can add the IT guys who also have total access. These people have access because they run and protect our communication systems.

  13. Well, I think its easily summed up by simply saying that Marjorie Green has any sort of clearance. What a mistake🤦🏻‍♂️

  14. It is ironic that he is describing himself without realising it 6:44 he sells himself to the media on those bases.

  15. How the heck did a 21 year old kid get a hold of these documents and the people in his group are all teenagers still in high school what the heck is going on with pentagon security how did this kid have access to all this top secret documents without anybody knowing about it.

  16. I had a TS-SCI clearance at 22 and served with those credentials for over 10 years without incidence. The difference was; I was not a traitor or enemy of the state. I am confused how digital technology got smuggled into a scif, since that stuff is checked before entering. Fortunately, mobile phones weren’t a problem back then, since they weren’t around yet, but tiny cameras were available, and all your bags and self were checked going in. Somewhere, the system failed, and this kid-traitor took advantage of it.
