  1. I don’t think Nancy has an issue with reopening impeachment hearings in the house and subpoenaing John Bolton. So go ahead, make her feel obligated to do it.

  2. The House needs to subpoena John Bolton NOW. They can’t trust Senate Republicans to do the right thing and call Bolton to testify because they are all Trump bobble-heads.

    2. @Exquisite Eva Grywalsky I agree with you. If he wanted to testify he would have in the house. Now he knows no one will buy his book if he isn’t willing to testify. At least his assistant wasn’t scared of telling the truth. He knows the Republicans don’t want anymore evidence against the president. I think we have enough evidence anyway. And for much more than he is being charged for. To bad all Mueller’s work in now being ignored, but they still made him testify. I guess it’s too much to read. Besides other people are doing the time for those crimes.

Aside from 130+ criminal indictments in his administration, Reagan passed huge tax breaks for the rich, broke the back of labor unions, deregulated banks (causing a $1 trillion meltdown of the the S&Ls), gutted environmental laws, and set the course for deficit spending. Nevertheless, at least Joe has some fire in his belly, unlike his spineless comrades in the GOP

      Your wrong, impeachment is the soul responsibility of the house. They voted by a majority for impeachment, it passed *trump is officially and legally, historically impeached 3rd president now and for ever more.
      Nancy can hold the articles as long as she can. She can also add to them, or impeach again. The senate has sole responsibility to hear and try impeached* trump only for removal from office.

      You must not have paid attention in government, and constitution. If you had studied you would realize the house has the soul responsibility to impeachment. The senate has the soul responsibility to remove the president from office. The rules are agreed upon by the house, and senate. Go back and study how the rules are and can be changed and agree upon by both.

      According to the U.S. Senate: “if a federal official commits a crime or otherwise acts improperly, the House of Representatives may impeach—formally charge—that official. If the official subsequently is convicted in a Senate impeachment trial, he is removed from office.”[2]

      There are several provisions in the United States Constitution relating to impeachment:

      Article I, Section 2, Clause 5 provides:

      The House of Representatives … shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.
      Article I, Section 3, Clauses 6 and 7 provide:

      The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments. When sitting for that Purpose, they shall be on Oath or Affirmation. When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside: And no Person shall be convicted without the Concurrence of two-thirds of the Members present.
      Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States; but the Party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment and Punishment, according to Law.
      Article II, Section 2 provides:

      [The President] … shall have power to grant reprieves and pardons for offenses against the United States, except in cases of impeachment.
      Article II, Section 4 provides:

      The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.[3]

    1. Indeed, it’s likely a ruse, with Bolton dangling the willingness to testify, with no intention of actually doing so. He knows McConnell will never issue that subpoena.
