And why are things this way in politics? Because of money. Money makes it cut throat. And gives billionaires excessive power.
@Kimberly Garrett of course you would think that 😒
TRUMP 2024🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@Kimberly Garrett They realized a long time ago that with socialism and more corporate controls and taxes (that they of course would be exempt to thanks to their well paid accountants) there would be less competition and it would be easier for them to monopolize the market. Anti Wall Street Democrats do not raise an issue about this because they need their money to institute socialism.
he should ask the secretary of state to “just find” him $4,000+ votes

@baller And Elvis and JFK Jr. for backup. Need to throw an exorcist in too as the party needs one.
@w kahn Those disinfectants are kickin in. LOL
One of the reasons people hate politics is that truth is rarely a politician’s objective . Election and power are .
@John I DO IT MORE THAN BOTH SIDES
@michael shultz You should have read his comment. He meant 1 Biden…Joe, not Hunter, you Magamoron. 🤡
The Citizens United decision had deep ramifications, and we’re living them now.
Exactly. It was already hard enough to get equal representation with the rich and powerful before citizens united

Meijer was funded by his wealthy father.
I was in law school when Citizens United was handed down and was shocked. Horrible decision. If shareholders want to vote, they can literally vote as individuals. The “freedom of speech” argument made no sense to me. Corporations (aka corporate management) now determines who is eligible to be elected, rather than the people. If the Court can overturn Roe, hopefully a future Court can overturn Citizens United.
The guy is leaving poliics and still can’t give a simple “yes” or “no” answer, even when asked directly, all after complaining about partisan politics.
Zero self-awareness topped only by CNN saying “we need more like him.”
You should have asked him would you give Donald Trump a chance to do it again
Interesting how close it was. He has exposed the fact that a principled Republican who voted to impeach Trump can still garner a lot of support among Republican primary voters. Congratulations to him. He has proved that there is still a large constituency to fight for within the GOP.
We want trump. Those that attacked our constitution, us and those actually serve us need to go.
It’s sad that it’s rare for leaders to do the right thing even if it means losing their position. The ultimate sacrifice for truth should be one any leader is willing to make

While I agree with much of what was said, there was a glaring factual error. The Democrats did not redraw Adam Kinsinger’s district. A non-partisan committee did.
5:48 just because someone is an independent doesn’t mean they are a moderate. I’m independent because I am to the left of establishment Democrats. I’m not a socialist or anything but I think the amount of money both parties funnel into broken systems instead of fixing them is insanely wasteful
@tixximmi1 Define socialist.
@Yasu Talodin Democrat.
Socialism has already been proven to be the best system–and folks won the Economic prize PROVING it!
@tixximmi1 Define socialism.
@tixximmi1 And while you’re at it define communism and fascism.
I’m a Democrat and I believe that although we both come from different views of which game plan is best for our nation I believe that you should have won your reelection and I hope you continue to show integrity and courage.

I find this sickening to see that Democrats helped defeat someone who was willing to stand up to Trump. Sickening.
Why? He was going to vote 90% of Trump’s policies if elected and put the Republicans back in the majority. eGt a Democrat instead.
I’m a Democrat and I disagree with what the DNC did in this situation.

These guys (and the lady at the end) said so many things that resonated with me. Great show. Partisanship is a big danger to the future of our democracy.
@baller F
@Kimberly Garrett No one is advocating for an end to private property. At least, no one that anyone takes seriously.
And there is no NWO – just a big group of powerful, greedy people who happen to work together when it suits their interests.
@Kimberly Garrett Lol. To believe that the world’s greediest people are allied to one another is the epitome of naivete.
@Kyle Smith WEF
This is one dirty trick that for the first time in many years makes me ashamed to call myself a Democrat. We need sane and principled members of Congress, no matter which side they represent. If my side loses a race, I want to at least have the assurance that the winner is an honorable human being.

As a Democrat, I agree that this was a cynical, and ill-advised move by DCCC. They bemoan the threat to democracy, which I agree with, and then they themselves toss out the principles they claim to stand on.
I agree with you. So disappointed with Democrats playing these political games. I didn’t vote for Meijer and probably wouldn’t, because (what would have been) his Dem challenger is more closely aligned to my values… but he is 100% correct here when he says it’s hypocritcal. I also think that if I donate to the Democrat party – I do not want my donations going to fund right wing candidates.
Totally agree. Shameful and embarrassing move by the DCCC.
As a Democrat, I am not in search of a Democratic dominated government, but rather a principled bipartisan one. One where we as a country debate to find an agreed upon middle ground driven by what the people want and need. Although I don’t know much of Meijer, the times I have watched and listened to him, he is one who needs to be in politics. Even if he’s not in my party. My one concern is he still couldn’t say he wouldn’t vote for Trump if he was the Republican candidate. This in and of it self goes against the things he was just saying are wrong in politics. In summary, we have a lot still to change and improve upon in US politics.

The part that makes me mad is I live in Peter Meijers district. In the 36 years I’ve lived here there has NEVER been a Democrat voted into Congress. I’m a proud democrat and I’m furious to find out that the Democratic national committee backed John Gibbs! I would rather deal with the devil I know than the devil I don’t. This is why I’m upset that Peter Meijer lost. John Gibbs is a Trump acolyte, and will be nothing but a useless distraction in the Congress if he wins! 😎☮️
@Marie Lucas Back off troll! 👎
He is a Good Man. I’m fed up with my party donating to election deniers. I’m not sending another nickel. I wonder if others feel the same way.

Gracious concession speech by a man with integrity. Sad to lose him. I am a Democrat and agree with his criticism of the Democrats for cynical ploy to put in easier candidate to defeat.
I’m a Republican and proud of it and the GOP that you see today I hate with a passion,this man had the balls to vote impeach. With honor and integrity of a gentleman! Bravely face the truth to his constitutional oath to do his job as a distinguished statesman, 10 outstanding great examples of Stateswomen’s-ship and statesmanship, and historically unique to the oath of the United States Congres; given the attitudes and what’s in it for me? of recent decades of Congress. The 10 knowing fullwell the impending wrath of the criminally insane of the GOP of Congress.
Historically (wishful) speaking, to the DNC and Shout out – Bad Form to all those responsible of conduct reflecting mega fanatics and special interest and plain ignorant to solutions of issues we face today. These remove the blinders and take a look at the box from afar.
A golden opportunity of a lifetime to exhibit non-partisanship and fairplay with Honorable intentions of leadership and statesmanship, having constitutional awareness of future Harmony, integrity and the willingness to see common ground across the aisle that transcends rhetoric and party hatred and finger pointing and the ignorance of self prospects and special interests. We are still one nation, under the one God of all Nations 🌈 Seems like the criminally insane has infiltrated the DNC 😀
Except he won’t be easier to defeat lmfao
