Funny story. This Q garbage started out as the Pizzagate conspiracy in 2016. My best friend since childhood got all wrapped up in the pizzagate nonsense right before the 2016 election. He was telling me all about it and he was frustrated that I didn’t believe him. His “overwhelming evidence” was one John Podesta email where Podesta responds to a coworker regarding lunch, “I can do pizza for about an hour.” My friend thought that was REALLY suspicious. He kept saying, “Nobody talks like that. It’s got to be code.” We were at an impasse so I told him he was a moron and we dropped the subject. A few days later we were planning a weekend trip. Just us guys. He sent me a text message that said something like, “I can stop and get some groceries on the way up. We can just do cardboard pizzas all weekend unless you want something else.” The “cardboard pizza” reference is what his dad calls any store bought thin crust pizza (usually Tombstone). Of course I had a field day with that and accused him of being a child molester. He got the point and re-evaluated the whole pizzagate thing. I had a conversation with him the other day and he was talking about how stupid the Q stuff is and how he can’t believe he ever got wrapped up in the pizzagate stuff.
@Chris L I’m really genuinely happy for you as I have a best friend who’s husband is really wrapped up in all the Q conspiracy theories and he has some how convinced her it was all real and we are no longer speaking because he has been teaching this to her children, and is really hateful and disturbed.
