Rep. Schiff On Trump’s Disregard Of Hatch Act: ‘Lawlessness Is The Point’ | The Last Word | MSNBC
There should be a law where the media can’t all be owned by 6 people.
@Ryan Piercy under socialism the media would be called publicly owned but the definition of public/the people means the government.
@terrible Tom oh enjoy your November ❄
@Don Iguana except in the unlikely case someone proves more than half of people disagree in which case that gov official is in hot water and may well be removed from office. My general point though is that if they are going to be compromised anyway, what does it matter if it is the government or a private owner who controls it. At least with the government one, there is a theoretical repercussion if it is made clear the people as a whole disagree.
@Ryan Piercy but thats not how media works humans absorb information regardless of its origin or motivation
Edit: I’m sure I fall for the same trick but I do try to see evidence as my gold stadard
@Don Iguana Humans do indeed, but the exact information they absorb is more than raw facts, the way it is presented tends to make things look more or less favorable, media outlets on both the right and left politically tend to do this. As do governments who control their media.
Next four years needs to be all about “Terms And Limits”, we need to take the trash out.
@Bryan B you wouldn’t know evidence if it was bare naked in front of you.
@James Branscomb I was more for 4, but I could compromise at 8.
Charlie Darwin / Start with Biden 47 years and made his family rich and not much else in all that time and people think he will save us.
@George Woodard lmao how can you say that and just look over Trump’s head
@George Woodard I don’t think Biden will be much of a threat after November, but I would like to see Trump help get term limits reduced for members of congress, I think 4 years with 8 year maximum, good enough for the president then good enough for congress. TRUMP2020!
The word of the day is:
*Pathetic*
@Dawn Curtis what you have nothing to come back with besides obscenities!
Pathetic was a buzz word pushed by cnn a month ago your a little behind Parrott
@Jude Jackson <- troll 🚨
@J Nelson cckscking trumptwat.
@Travis Forde cckscking trumptwats are pathetic. Denial is all you have.
The beauty of our government is that it can be changed 😂
The norms that this administration is blowing off must be bolstered with laws.
The thing is many of them are. The media have got into the habit of saying Trump breaks norms, when what they are talking about are laws.
It used to be that a man’s word was truth, not a salad of lies.
@Christine Mills …….pencil neck is the least of any of their issues but anyway.
I guess you really don’t like biden or harris
@Main What planet did you just land from.
@Nena Pina so why do democrats want to lose so bad?
@Main You’re entitled to your opinion.
The US, one step closer to an autocracy.
He stiff’s the city’s when he did his rallies to. Specially Democrat ones
Yea, that GD obama should have paid his bills.
@john doe
Goggle it before you make a statement like that.
Upwards of 800k. Since 2016.
Elephant in the room: is this indictable, post-20 January?
So why is t he arrested for breaking the law? He seems to ba above any kind of law.it really bothers me.any other President would have been driven out of office. He gets off scot free.
The worse part is that he doesn’t know the law. He is actually ignorant. How sad.
When the president is more important than the people, the people must react accordingly!
John Fanion .. I agree…and now that Obama isn’t here anymore we don’t have a president that thinks he is more important than the people.
You got that right!
John Fanion Obama did nothing, but break every stinking law, starting with being POTUS, an admittedly born Kenyan and ending with such things as acts of treason, saying to others(foreigners) that; “Americans need to give up their freedom”, disrespecting former and present military {THIS INCLUDED my sister, a VETERAN btw.}.
So far, no one has been able to make him accountable for his actions or behavior. That sends a huge message.
He-s been doing what he wants for four years…
Melania mowed down the “Rose garden”.
Putin’s puppet most likely thinks it’s a confirmation as president for life
Republican Covid19 spreading party. Maybe Trump will just go away….”like a miracle.”
Maybe he will just go away, and maybe you’ll get an education. 🤷♀️
Trump 2020
@Main2020 🇺🇸 Democracy NOT Racism, NOT Monarchy. NOT autocracy, NOT Dictatorship.
The U.S. Constitution may sleep, but it will never die.
Karma’s a b.
@Liz Franklin Education? LMFAO. Not only do I have a bachelors & other degress, I have taught.
Sit down. Be humble.
@Monica Seferian kamala and biden openly take about removing amendment’s so I’m not sure what you’re talking about.
Can you imagine what the Big Orange Caligula would say….if President Obama would have done this???
Is the hatch act a law, or just a guideline? Current admn doesn’t follow either
The whole WORLD will be partying
When the orange clown is out of the wh. 🤘😀👍🥳🎉🎊🥳
