Marcellino Sananto, Congressman King has done more for Civil rights and the African American community than you could ever dream of doing. It is disrespectful to tarnish the people who actually fights for people’s rights. Just like how Senator Harris created a false narrative that Biden was a racist when Biden was one of the leading people at the time fighting for the African American community. Just because you disagree with someone does not mean they are racist.

True, but I think it’s also a matter of them realizing that the Republican party has died.
The whole point of spending all that money and effort to stay in the House is _power._ Knowing he will be in the minority if re-elected kind of takes away the desire to take the gig. He sees nothing ahead but a series of votes he doesn’t want to publicly take, and a reputation tainted by supporting an obviously unfit President.
That and the unpleasant outcomes of crossing the King.
