And the punishment should be meted out to the GOP senators and congressmen/women who signed onto the lawsuits to overturn free and fair elections. All 156 of them have to be investigated, charged and tried in a court of law for the crime of sedition and it’s resulting violence. And then sentenced to a long prison term in a Federal facility. No easy time for them. The evidence of their crimes is too great for me to consider even for 1 second that they might be innocent. Those men and women convicted themselves out of their own mouths and with their own signatures.

Trump WAS impeached, America wants him convicted. But a Senate trial can’t put him in jail or give him a fine or do anything meaningful. The real judges of the trial will be each of us, and we must render our judgment at the ballot box. Meanwhile actual legal complaints about Trump’s alleged crimes are being investigated and going through the courts, that’s where real penalties will be played out.
