Senator Elizabeth Warren is going after former Mayor Mike Bloomberg over his record with women, but why isn't she going after another candidate over his past disturbing comments on women? Rep. Katie Porter On Last Night's Democratic Debate | Velshi & Ruhle | MSNBC
Why tf would you go after Bernie for that over Bloomberg. What kinda question
Dom Wilson Hello? So SHE can win?
Dom Wilson
Your comment shows the stupidity of Bernie voters.
God bless the children.
He said he didn’t say it and the media is still acting as if he did. Cmon man
Come on man how about all the NDA’s and no he hasn’t released them all he released three
Bernie DIDN’T say it. Nobody else was in the room with them at the time, nobody overheard their remarks, and Bernie’s entire history demonstrates that he simply wouldn’t say anything like that about women. Warren made that allegation immediately after some people from the Clinton and Obama camps joined her campaign. Do the math, folks.
What an outrageous segment. MSNBC shamelessly grasping at straws for anything to serve their establishment agenda rather than responsibly evaluate candidates to serve a progressive agenda. Katie Porter is my representative and once again she’s made me proud of the vote I cast for her.
I’m so disappointed with Ruhle. Every day she gets worse. It’s like she lost her backbone.
I think the network may have told her to chill out because she used to be a lion. Weak now.
grod805 Porter is a beast of a women.
Corporate pressure. She’s doing exactly what her billionaire overlords are ordering her to do. None of these clowns have a shred of morality left at this point. It’s all about the MONEY.
Your idiots thinking what you care actually matters to the dnc
Before she came to MSNBC, she was very successful in the financial sector. So I think she has some ties to Wall St still and if Bernie gets in office, her wealth made in the financial sector would be affected by potential changes in tax law. So I always side eye when she’s going so hard against Bernie.
FFS Stephanie Ruhle spent years in hedge fund sales before she went to work for BLOOMBERG
Ms Ruhle hates Bernie!!
Is this your way of pressuring the press to grovel to your man? This is very Trump like.
Yeah cuz she’s a neoliberal hack just like the fox goons. Only difference is they are trumpers and msnbc are (supposedly left leaning) centrists.
@pugetwitch She is entitled to her opinion, just like you are entitled to yours. You are not entitled to make up lies. Ruhle is indeed a neo-liberal, so am I, proudly so, because we understand how real world works and we understand capitalism is indispensable to human flourishing. Just because we hold that view does not make us hate Bernie, we just have doubts and disagreement with Bernie’s views. However, I do hate Bernie Bros, because you guys waste time making up conspiracy theories about DNC rather than fighting Trump.
Lol this is low even for msnbc
Now, surely you are NOT actually considering defecting from the Party cuz that would be really bad! No one leaves the Deep State bucko! NO ONE!
@greg j You leave a cult, they shun you, you can’t run with herd, you have to become a critical thinker, think for yourself.
This is actually worse than Fox
Stephanie Ruhle’s question is a hard-hitting question – however, it is also a leading question for Congresswoman Katie Porter who is supporting Warren. Mrs. Porter was smart in her answer avoiding and minimizing the Bernie bashing that it looked like Mrs. Ruhle was hoping for. Promoting Warren’s positives – while deflecting a question that is specifically designed to be divisive is very wise.
Some folks believe Ms. Warren’s assertion that he made that statement in private – while others believe Bernie would never say that because of his long term support for women – including Hillary Clinton – which whom he disagreed with on policy. I think the truth maybe somewhere in between. And it is totally beside the point of who would be able to mobilize the most voters in removing a staunch corporatist like Mr. Trump from office.
My respect for Katie Porter has grown – My respect for Stephanie Ruhle has diminished – only because of the controversial way the question was asked. She should take her job more seriously – if she wants to be considered a “real journalist.”
agreed
“If” Sanders ever said that, it reflect upon the American electorate not upon Bernie Sanders.
Except that Bernie DIDN’T say it.
I like how she just slips in Bernie said that when it was actually he was accused of having said and he denied. I used to like this network but it’s becoming more and more obviously biased. Shame on you msnbc
undertow – Some hosts on MSNBC are really bad about including progressive voices and staying more neutral. CNN has done a better job, Chris Hayes and Rachel Maddow have done a better job either talking about progressive issues or just not unfairly trashing Bernie. However, all news, hosts, and most pundits r themselves of much higher incomes or working for someone of much higher income and all businesses r for-profit. Most of them don’t want to leave this laissez-faire economy where the wealthy have a much greater control over the country than anyone else, they don’t want to pay their fair share of taxes, and while may some inform to some level, they exist to make money. That’s why u see Fox News go all out on disinformation, propaganda, and fake conspiracy theories….bc it makes the wealthy the wealthiest (Republican policies) and the outrageous, unbelievable crap they say on their network draws more viewers and therefore more advertising money.
@undertow It’s simple, you fill out a job application and they tell you what you hourly rate is. In absolutely NO case should the Bern ever been starting workers out at less than $15 an hour.
YOU can swallow all of his bs, but everyone else knows how the game is played.
Is it Ironic that Bernie’s initial are BS?? Nope!
@undertow You sound upset that you just found out the lying, biased propaganda outlet you’ve been watching for years is actually Biased, dishonest and spews propaganda..A simple than you would have sufficed, but instead you blame ME for telling you the truth.
Prisoner Zero my apologies. I thought I was taking to someone who knew what the word salary meant.
How can you ask questions framed with bias??? It’s never like “what do you think about Bernie’s plan?” It’s always “we all agree that his plans are wrong. Let’s elaborate…” Utterly disingenuous at the least.
Good lord, this autoplayed from youtube and I thought it was a fox news interview at first. Then I realized even fox news doesnt ask the idiotic type of questions Ruhle was asking as facts instead of her own opinion.
MSNBC is done… Never watching even after Bernie wins and you pivot
@Karen Byrd Good. And Mathews apologized. So can you Bernie Bros quit the MSNBC derangement and move on to beating Trump?
@unwishfulthink So, how is MSNBC derangement different from Trump Derangement? Or is there a difference?????
As if the dnc actually cares what you want. God your idiots
MSNBC- ” How come Warren didn’t attack Bernie on sexual harassment he didn’t commit personally?”
MSM seems to conveniently forget the word “allegedly” when speaking about Sanders
Allegedly
You should retitle this video “But Bernie…”
MSNBC another failed attempt at trying to make people believe that Bernie is the same as evil people such as Bloomberg.
Just believe fake news when they say orange man bad but dont believe anything else😅😅 wtf is wrong with you people?
From Wikipedia : “Previously, Ruhle was managing editor and news anchor for Bloomberg Television and editor-at-large for Bloomberg News. Ruhle co-hosted the Bloomberg Television show Bloomberg GO.”
So it is “my former boss was a sexist, but Hillary says, Bernie is a sexist.”
I’m sorry to see Stephanie Ruhle displaying such a strong bias against Bernie Sanders.
She’s doing what she’s paid and ORDERED to do by Comcast.
“But why didn’t she do want we want!?” This is quite literally the worst reporting.
Very. Shame of Stephanie Ruhle, but not too surprising as her background literally hails from the trading room floor.
Dallas Murphy Porter is a beast.
leicanoct yeah I think they handled it great.
MSNBC still at it. Lol. Keep making yourself irrelevant guys.
Well it is fake news. You just catching on?😅😅 the dnc already has a plan and it doesnt involve what their pawn supporters want
