Much love to the Raskin family. I lost a friend to suicide. We met in high school Biology class because they sat us alphabetically. We played in the same garage band, used to talk philosophy smoking cigarettes in the dead of winter, and would go out for pancakes at 2 am at the all-night diner. Rest in Peace, Tommy. 🙌

Suicide sucks,,wish We could have done more
It’s hard because often politicians want their sons to go to Harvard and do well and sometimes the son just wants to travel and just be a yoga teacher or something. I grew up in a family like this and the family fell apart. As long as it is legal parents just have to let their kids be who they really are even if their kid wants to be a garbage collector………So be it. It’s an honest job.
Mr. Raskin is a true patriot.

God bless you Senator Raskin, losing a child (especially in such a tragic way) is never easy, I know from first hand experience. The pain never goes away, not really. You just have to learn to cope each and every day.
