I was able to buy my child shoes, cold weather clothes, and stock the pantry a bit in case we end up back in lockdown with my check. And before you attack me, I am a single adoptive mama, working full time from home, and homeschooling my child. I am not receiving, nor have I received any government assistance other than this check and the stimulus checks.
