USA – The World is looking on at your democracy. A trial with no testimonies or witnesses is a very dangerous precedent!
Every trial Trump has been in throughout his life, even those he himself started, if they’ve ended up with witnesses and evidence, they have been a disaster for him because they have always ruled against him.
So of course we can understand why Trump is deathly afraid of witnesses and evidence in this trial.
The only cases Trump has ever won in courts are those where he has financially had more money than his opponent (whether he sued them or they sued him) and he has exhausted them financially in the court process that they gave up and threw the towel in to not be bankrupted by further litigation. These gave Trump his legal “wins” not based on legal merit, but based on the deepest pocket.
Luckily for the American people, this is one trial which is being conducted by congressional prosecutors, by and for the American people, and they have the pockets of the US government to prevent Trump dragging it out to exhaustion.
@Cody Rey What about Trumps threat of executive privilege on ALL witnesses during the Impeachment investigation, did you not understand? A wise man once told me, “No one knows a person’s true intellect, until that person opens their mouth (or comment in this instance). It’s deeply disturbing that our democracy is so damaged that some intellectually and psychologically incompetent career criminal who openly hates everything the US stands for like 45* could ever get near any public office, and it’s alarming that he has not been removed yet.
Whatever happens with 45*/the current GOP, unless major changes are made to strengthen our democratic institutions, US democracy will die within less than a generation…it’s been on a steady decline since the 70’s thanks mostly to the radical far right GOP.

Here are facts that also won’t change.
1. The battered wife got her half of the marital pool assets on divorce because the hit was called off by her abusive husband once he found out someone blew the whistle that they overheard him contracting for her murder.
2. The battered wife is alive because her abusive husband was caught before the murder hit was completed even though it was arranged and he paid the deposit to the hitman.
3. The battered wife is stupidly and irrationally putting her kids before her own safety. She thinks she needs her husband to be free to continue working and paying child support since she can’t fend for herself and all her kids if he’s in jail.
But the prosecutors have all the evidence against the husband, and it’s not up to the wife whether the prosecutors indict her husband. And he’s not being charged with murder. He’s being charged with conspiracy to murder. And she has no say whether he is tried and convicted and sentenced and jailed. Whether she forgives him is irrelevant. She is not the law. If she attempts to misguidedly interfere in the process of justice, then she will be charged herself for her own good and she will be subpoenaed to give evidence against her will.
Rod Allen, Zelensky did the wrong thing (gave into Trump’s extortion) for the right reason, to save his country from Russia’s war. And Zelensky is still doing the wrong thing, protecting Trump, for the right reason, to continue to save his country from the Russian war. Zelensky is the battered wife whose husband put out a hit on her, and she thinks she’s doing the right thing by her children to protect the man that would have had her killed.
