  1. That is why when the chief gets on TV and start spouting his apologetic propaganda and cops around the country get on the channels to disparage their fellow police officers and cross that blue line, I don’t go for it and neither should you it’s only propaganda for the moment there is nothing being done in that that solves any problems for the long run

    1. If you have been watching the videos of the protests, bad cops have been crossing the lines for days.

  2. So much for this being an illegal tactic that officers are not taught to use, looks like standard operating procedure to me.

    1. @Carlton Allix Well maybe it should be banned like the choke hold…..the video shows 4 cops, and no apparent resisting.

Now lets see the body cam.

    2. Only reason why I am on here because I’m bored asf and my job been closed but this is going to keep happening body cam or not. An officer did it during one of the protests in Seattle if anyone thinks this is the last time they are living in a fantasy world.

    3. @Eastern Woods that’s the point…it should not be in the manual. The reporters said it is not standard police behavior and is considered controversial. The police chief needs to be fired.

  3. Neck restraint was used yesterday… saw it on TV during the protests…. and another officer grabbed the other officers leg with his two hands pulling his leg of the person’s neck and screamed at him NO NECK RESTRAINT. I forget what news media filmed it, but up to yesterday it was used. Very Sad!

  4. I am concerned they will use this to defend that “a death had never occurred before and the officer couldn’t have known” or something ridiculous like that

    1. the three minutes on his neck after he lost consciousness made it 2nd degree murder or first degree. The time after the state police officer checked him and found no pulse is a gimme, you can do that, you’ve already murdered him

  5. Organize!
Set boundaries against the judicial system and the legislators who say “we can’t change it’s too hard.”
Be the change you want to see.
    Forgive. Love.
Don’t trust proud conservatives. They always lie, cheat, steal and murder fir their own gain.

  6. Close to 50 people choked unconscious. This wasn’t the first time they’ve heard “I can’t breathe.”

    1. @Safety First You’re “dipping and dapping and don’t know what’s happening.” I don’t even live in a blue state. Regardless of that, are you suggesting that black people are safer in red states?

    2. Real Talk76 In Red States we don’t dream of killing our brother’s from different mothers only if provoked!

    3. @Safety First Like Ahmaud Arbery? Or Breanna Taylor? Walter Scott? Terence Crutcher? Greg Gunn? EJ Bradford? Atatiana Jefferson? Botham Jean? etc, etc. You’re delusional if you think this phenomenon is not a systemic problem that goes beyond red and blue states. The police have been allowed to act with impunity with very little accountability. That’s why that officer could look dead into the camera, with his hands in his pockets, in front of civilians and choke a man to death. I don’t care what state it was in. Justice must be served, this country has had enough of this nonsense.

  7. Now since this info has come the police should change their work culture and treat all races fairly

  8. I ain’t no genius but wouldn’t banning police unions solve this accountability problem? Allegedly

    1. It would be a good start. No matter how egregious police behavior, the Fraternal Order of Police is always there defending the clown.

  9. One bigot cop lit the fuse that is reverberating around the world. The dolt needs to be in lights on solitary confinement for life with no human contact what so ever, he has forfeited his rights as a human.

  10. It’s the new standard restraint. I’ve seen dozens of shakey phone footage with knees on the back of neck/shoulders. They are clearly taught it.

  11. “Maybe when you’re putting them into the police cars, you remove your hand and let them hit their heads.” – t’rump telling police officers to use excessive force and brutality.

    1. Roger Stone, Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort, Michael Cohen, etc. might disagree. He will take a different tune after the election because he may be in for a perp walk or two.

  12. I thought choke holds were made illegal in the 80’s/90’s? It is so easy to crush the trachea. I know a regular citizen can go to jail in most states for using a choke hold.

  13. Trump will do what any malignant narcissist would do. Keep the focus on himself and his needs.

  14. I WAS A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER FOR 32 YEARS. NEVER HAD TO USE A CHOKE HOLD OR ANY KIND OF HOLD TO THE HEAD OR THROAT. DID HAVE TO USE MY LEG AND KNEE ON THE SHOULDER. BUT IF ANYONE I WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR HAD A MEDICAL PROBLEM I MADE SURE THEY WERE TAKEN TO MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS.

  15. Let’s stop calling these “Neck Restraint” call them what they are. “Death Holds.”
