Something really stinks when a group can get someone’s cel phone records released — when this person has only been charged and not convicted. Something is up with this entire ‘Emergency’.
@Heather Young It is called invasion of privacy. It is just like the leak of the convoy donations and names and locations of the donors.
@Patrick Karp I believe that after he was arrested is when those records were obtained in order to gain evidence to present to the Court at the time of trial. All evidence that police use in a trial must be provided to the accused’s lawyer so they can respond to it. Try reading the Evidence Act before spouting nonsense.

Let’s have the news talk about every person who ever talked to anyone involved in the protest. Publish all phone messages, emails and letters. So they can be shamed by all citizens. That’s what we do now. Trials don’t matter, the public will give their verdict.

It is called dignity. He has no dignity. He helped plot to harm Canadian citizens in Ottawa. Do you believe it is ok to harm fellow Canadians to get your way. To me they are extortionists. What does it mean to be Canadian anymore ? I feel like the Country is no longer a Country. What ever made Canada what it once was, feels lost to me now. Maybe I am depressed, but I honestly think it’s the proper response mentally and emotionally to what has taken place in the past 7 years or so. I had a very vivid dream of a Woman from India holding up an Urn and the Urn had Gold and Blue Maple Leaf’s on it, she smiled at me and I thought what is she doing? so I asked her why are showing me this Urn? She was unpacking all of her items and moving into my apartment while I was still living in it, I was getting kicked out of my home. I just had this dream last night. I have never felt so displaced in my life but here it is..

Almost every single Conservative MP or MLA, from Manitoba to Alberta, financially supported the Convoy out of their own pockets. The Conservatives invested heavily, both politically and financially in this protest. I think this, and Poilievre will cost them the next federal election, but sometimes it’s better to lose standing up for what you believe in rather than compromising your beliefs to win.
