The only way forward is to take a zero-approach tolerance. No second chance for any government official or government agent who is implicated in corrupt or illegal practices. One of the main reasons Jamaicans do not trust government and authority, is because it always appears that people in high positions somehow seem to evade the consequences when they are named in untoward conduct, whilst the regular citizen is immediately dismissed from his position or hauled off to jail. This damaging image must be reversed.
