    1. @TeeTauntYen HE WAS IN THE DRIVER’S SEAT. It’s on tape – he was passed out in the line at the Wendy’s drive-through, obstructing traffic.

    2. Desperado5501 I suppose we could make drunk driving legal, but only for black men. That would have fixed everything…..

  1. Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted… Father, I release peace and strength unto the family. May they find it in their hearts to forgive the cop as he will have to answer for it one day. I pray a special blessing over Rayshard’s children, that they will live on successfully without hatred or regret. In Jesus name, Amen.

    1. Amen. May they forgive the cop…. btw wonder how much money they’re seeking in legal actions.

    2. They don’t need to forgive the LEO because the LEO did nothing wrong. Rayshard made stupid choices.

    1. @Paul Jensen I volunteer for the Jews in my community. What do you do for the hispanics? Are you… wait… what is your social credit score?

    2. Jay Gibson 😂😂 uhhhh.. not exactly a great answer there Jay if you’re trying to persuade black Dem voters. try again??

    3. Jay Gibson that’s your conservative platform for disenfranchised POC? “People are people.” Give me a break.

  2. Stop punching cops in the face and taking their weapons and firing it at them…and you’ll be fine. Starting to come across as crybabies now.

  3. This man was clearly drunk asf. He probably didn’t even know what was going on in those last moments of his life.

    1. Let’s get this straight. He is driving drunk. Resits arrests, fights with cops. Steals and assaults cops with taser. Sounds like a great guy.

    2. @Robin Holbrook Let’s get this straight. He is driving drunk. Resits arrests, fights with cops. Steals and assaults cops with taser. Sounds like a great guy. He deserves what he got.

    3. @treverfox he got what he got, not sure it is what he deserved. But the whole unfortunate incident was his own, drunk, violent fault.

    4. Robin Holbrook Tasers have been proven potentially lethal. Not to mention the number of LEOs killed after being disarmed by perps. Please educate yourself.

About Brooks walking home….. I suppose we could just make DUI legal, but only for black men….? Would that have fixed all of this?

    5. @Brad Christy Look I’m exmilitay . I’m familiar with weapons been tased with police issued tasers. I didnt die. All I’m saying . .It’s not worth killing a man because he has a taser and you have a gun. Now that white cop gotta fight those murder charges . He is going to jail .

  4. When he said “Life Shouldn’t Be This Complicated” I felt that on another level. RIP Ray and the Rest..

    1. Yes don’t resist arrest.dont get drunk . Be respectful work hard . Life is very easy when you follow few simple rules .

  5. Did they show the part where the family representative asked celebrities and charities to reach out to him?

    1. @Heaven Sent My family would be disgusted with me if I tried to profit off the death of our loved one. You’re a real piece of work, you know that?

    2. DivineHeresy Yes I do know that … A (honest) piece of work. Look around you Divine our Country in a mess ! People are suffering due to COVID-19 and loss of jobs. Honestly if a TV Network offers cash for a story . Do it !!! It’s not disrespecting your family or yourself ! The truth has (never) been a bad thing… 🙏🏽👍🏽

    3. Heaven Sent By now every family that had someone shot and killed has been contacted by a ghost writer. Books will be in the front windows of Barnes and Noble by Fall. There are millions to be made. It’s how the game is played.

    4. @Heaven Sent Well whatever they make from capitalizing off the death of their kin, at least theyll know exactly how much their souls were worth selling

  6. Gonna mention his criminal record? Gonna mention that he fought with police
after failing DUI test? Taser? Nah, just spew your victim propaganda.

  7. MR. BROOKS, A DRUNK OR DRUGGED UP MAN ASSAULTED TWO POLICE OFFICERS WITH HIS FIST, THEN SHOT A WEAPON (TAZER) AT AN OFFICER RESULTING IN HIS OWN DEATH.

    1. Mike E ,
      Mr Mike E,
Assaulting two police officers or any police officer and taking a taser away from a cop and shooting the taser at the cops while running away from the cops does not justify killing Rayshard Brooks.
Mr. Mike E, cops are not above the law, actually cops break laws, cops commit crimes and they don’t prevent crimes. Cops with common sense should have called Rayshard Brooks sister to pick him up, she lives in the neighborhood.
Majority of black Americans don’t trust police officers, Rayshard Brooks was trying to save his life.

    2. So you are actually shouting your asinine comment, it’s a grieving family and your’e shouting that their loved one deserved it, where is your compassion?

    3. You are evil you are the ills that plague your country your are an abhorrent racist a heartless satanic creature. Fortunately the tide is turning good white folk have woken up and you woe is you🤮

    4. @Sharon Sky MY COMPASSION IS FOR THE POLICE OFFICER, THE OWNERS OF WENDY’S AND THEIR EMPLOYEES AND FOR ALL THE LAW ABIDING WHITE PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN THAT AREA.

    5. @ZIMY COMPASSION IS FOR THE POLICE OFFICER, THE OWNERS OF WENDY’S AND THEIR EMPLOYEES AND FOR ALL THE LAW ABIDING WHITE PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN THAT AREA

  8. That man was so polite I saw my own son who is 28 and very polite I cried for this family/ My son said mom he ran – I said to my son / this man saw those handcuffs and started running for his life/ he knew what happened to George Floyd and saw himself dying. My son and I debated about it. That Police shot him in the back / there were many ways he could have handled this. That man did not have to die for sleeping in a Wendy’s driveway. Also diabetes fall asleep when their sugar levels get to low / they didn’t know why he was sleeping at first. Why couldn’t they call someone to pick him up / he wasn’t harming anyone/ even when they tried putting on the handcuffs he was still calling the police Mister showing a level of respect/ this is George Floyd all over again this time it’s a bullet. George Lawyers is wrong / the format is different/ the outcome the same. However, according to my 28 year old son who debated me on this “mom what if he would have hurt someone with the taser he took” according to my son they are both victims 😭😢🙏🏾✍🏾🧖🏾‍♀️🚔📸I told my son I can’t see no reasonable views for killing this man.

    1. He wasn’t just sleeping. He was drunk behind the wheel of a car. That’s a DUI in Georgia whether you’re driving or not. He then punched and body slammed the police, stole their taser, and attempted to use the taser against them. Let him go or take him home you say? Well first he broke the law. That’s not how we need to function as a society by letting people go who break the law. But let’s say they did take him home or let him go. Many people own or have access to more than one car. What is then to stop him from drinking more and getting in another car. He then drives and kills an innocent person. Then we’d be outraged at the cops for letting him go. We know it wasn’t diabetes as he took a portable breathe test. This showed he was over the legal limit. Diabetes doesn’t do that. He was wrong on many many levels.

    2. Earth Florida I didn’t say he was a diabetes/ he could have been since no one checked to even see why the man was sleeping/ I worked with a woman many years ago who had a disorder and she would just fall asleep/ I was getting ready to write her up for sleeping on the job until I learned…/ ALS what is this World coming to people have so little regard for human life. Facts/ he was sleeping not driving! God Bless You and his Family including all racists out there as well. I wish his family well he shouldn’t have died! One man 2 Police officers 👮‍♀️ Wow sir I feel your pain. If you are going to line up people certain people and shot them in the back for drinking then close down the package stores. No instead – no you had to much to drink – you are sleep in your car so it’s time to meet your maker! I was against Defunding the Police You just changed my mind Thank You✍🏾🙏🏾👮‍♀️🚔

    3. skyniquee you truly are special. He wasn’t shot for drinking. He was shot because he made a decision to point and use a weapon against a cop executing a lawful arrest. You don’t need to be driving for a DUI. Simply being in a running car behind the wheel is enough to get a DUI. It shows intent to the law. Get your facts straight. Don’t resist and have your day in court.

    4. Let’s get this straight. He is driving drunk. Resits arrests, fights with cops. Steals and assaults cops with taser. Sounds like a great guy.

    1. @Luke Oliver but yeah. If he tazed the cop n stuns him. Then takes the cops gun. Look what he already did, wouldn’t put it passed him.Do you always have such short sighted opinions and thoughts?

    2. Primarch Khas but he was running AWAY from the cops. They already had his information, tags, name, address etc. Could they not have gone to his house or pursued him on foot, or were they just that mind-blowingly lazy?

Is a DUI suspect and a lethally unarmed individual running AWAY from the scene a big enough threat to have to shoot 3 times… in the back? Was lethal force really necessary? How is it that mass shooters (Colorado, Charleston, Tucson) were able to be apprehended without a scratch on them? If I’m not mistaken, the officers actually bought the Charleston shooter a burger.

If the department acted reasonably and did not use excessive force, there would not have been terminations and a resignation from the police chief. Your taking points are tired, weak, and moot. There is no rational explanation for lethal force, and you all know that, which is why you all have to resort to name calling and personal attacks. Educate yourselves. Have a great day gentlemen… I’m out.

    3. @Luke Oliver isnt running a felony? N they’re supposed to chase them. Not let him steal a weapon and run away with it. You cannot justify what he did. Before he got shot he broke multiple laws. Next time a bank is robbed we should just let them get away. We can catch em later??? Stupid…n why did he point the tazer at them. That is what got him shot

  9. Gosh so you think killing him was an option, so you will only understand when it’s your family member.

    1. INSTANTDOPELORD I suppose we could just make DUI legal, but just for black men. That would have fixed all of this, right?

  10. My heart is crying for you and your family, I hope we can become better people so that this stops happening.

    1. @Larry Garland neither you nor I am qualified to make that judgement, nothing that I have seen so far supports your theory, I have not done much research though, and when I do it will be at my discretion. If your theory has no merit then your words end up being malicious as well as unfounded.
All of us are given the right to have a court and a jury of our peers decide guilt or innocence, and to decide what consequences apply. Law enforcement officers are not judge nor jury and do not have the right or responsibility to decide that a death sentence is needed by using lethal force. Every time an officer does so, without absolute extenuating circumstances is a stain on all other officers across the country and needs to have appropriate consequences.

  11. 2:21 If we didn’t say we loved you enough we have to apologize to him for not telling him that we loved him that much! I FEEL their pain I can relate.

  12. 100% justified shooting. The officers did everything right and the perp did everything wrong. You cannot take an officers weapon and then use it on him without possibly losing your life. Rayshard made a stupid personal choice.

    1. Lucius Kiirus As far as I’m concerned, once the perp turns a respectful interaction into an altercation, all outcomes are on the shoulders of the perp.

It’s kind of funny…. We keep hearing “This could have ended with Brooks walking to his sister’s house”…. Well, sure. It also could have ended with Brooks NOT getting into a car drunk.

I suppose we could just make drunk driving legal, but only for black men. That would have fixed everything…..

    2. so you’re telling me that the officers were justified in killing him? you’re gonna say that there is no fault in him being dead!?

    3. Absolutely! Let’s get this straight. He is driving drunk. Resits arrests, fights with cops. Steals and assaults cops with taser. Sounds like a great guy

    4. Paul Jensen So you’re telling me you would have been able to suppress six years of training in the seven microseconds the officer had to process the fact that he had a weapon pointed at him?

    5. Brad Christy training is firing multiple times upon the suspect as they are running away?? if that were true, the officers involved would still have their jobs

  13. He was high, drunk or both. The cops were respectful and doing their job from what was shown. Then he resists, steals the cops taser and fires it at him. Dumb moves

    1. @Kristen Rdesinski t’rump supporters think that if you look at a cop in the wrong way, that’s free license for them to shoot you. And here I thought they were “real Christians” and frowned upon murder? I guess not if you’re black.

    2. I would have called him an uber or allowed him to walk home to his sister’s house, like he asked to. The man fell asleep in a drive through line. He wasn’t driving 100 miles an hour, running stop lights.

    3. You see this family in pain, their hearts broken, their grief unbearable, and that’s what you have to offer, you are an undeveloped human being.

    4. @Ro G Trump supporters think that if “others” look at the cops crosseyed that there is an excuse for lethal force. I know my privilege, I don’t celebrate it or use it as a weapon against others.

  14. I am soo sorry for your loss. This has got to stop!! He sounded like a great young man. May he R.I.P. . I am sitting here crying with you. May the lord take you on his hands and give your family comfort. This has got to change NOW!!! # BLACK LIVES MATTER!!

    1. a great young man who drove drunk, endangered countless lives, resisted arrest, assaulted an officer, stole his weapon, ran away, and fired at him. yeah, great man. COP LIVES MATTER. follow the law!

    2. A great man?

Not counting his fiasco at wendys, the mans been charged with false imprisonment, battery to a family member, cruelty to children, theft, receiving stolen property, interference with custody, obstruction of an officer, and a handful of others.

If you think this is a great man, you seriously need to higher your standards lol.

  15. Where is his daddy, is he deceased? This was justifiable. You had to ask him if he was staying out of “trouble”
