  1. There is something I don’t understand how is it that an island that is surrounded by water is running out of water! Smh 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

    1. I don’t live in Jamaica now, but the waste that takes place because of poor infrastructure – how many pipes are leaking water on the roads- just the other day my dad told me of many pipes in his area running water like streams & yet they have no water flowing in the house. This happens too often. The pipes are place too close to surface or not properly

    2. @Mel Johnson and this comment goes right bk to what I mean if the government had done things right from beginning we wouldn’t be saying this now maybe a major drought but not just a 4 month period. Did you know that the 2 main dams in the KSA area half of them are debris and the other half is water?? I’ve heard talks how many times that when we are in the rainy period they gonna drain 1 and clean it and another time drain the other and this was said some 10yrs ago…

  2. GOVERNMENT MUST PUT UP SPEEDING CAMERA AND FLASHING YELLOW WARNING SIGNS ON HIGHWAYS TO WARN DRIVERS TO SLOW DOWN

  3. What a shame!! What’s wrong with these people? How can you steal from someone in similar position as you?
In addition, hope farmers do not buy anything from persons who want to sell items to them & cannot say how they acquire same!!

  4. The amount that is wasting on the roadways,it’s a shame, workmen says they have to get ok before they can work on them.

  5. It’s well known that water has been declining in Jamaica for years why has the government chose to do nothing about this important problem

  6. Water is under the ground just like oil and every thing else the question hair water is not going to sell for $100 a barrel, oil will soul far $100 a barrel and more what they don’t understand oil cannot replace water so why they don’t drill for water that’s the question we all should ask

  7. What the farmer they are saying is true when I was in Jamaica I cannot do it myself because I am 70% disabled from a hit and run accident I was involved in in Canada when I was on the farm work Paul Graham September 25th 1981 until now I get nothing so while I was there in Jamaica I have to pay people to farm because I had a lot of farmland I’m the same people you pay to do the work is the same people that return and steal your king because they don’t want you to have nothing it’s a big problem in Jamaica badmind covetousness grudgeful in other words they hate you when you have something or when you try to do something to better yourself they don’t want no one to have nothing in other words they sit down during the day and just think how to rob and kill you when night come on some of them gay face enough they do it night and day and moreover the police some of them is working with these teeth and those are the policeman and woman that issue in the gun and also the bullet

  8. I lay the blame on both political parties. They have spent very little on infrastructure, allow broken pipes to remain so for a long time, take money from only law abiding citizens for water, developments going up with no thought and probably much more

  9. Jamaica has flood and Drought in equal measures the fund should go ways to trap flood water into reservoirs in areas that are prone to flooding for use in drought conditions

  10. It does not matter when or how much money you spend on drought until you get NWC to respond to leak reports quicker. In fact, if they spent more money replacing and burying pipes deeper then we could see major reductions in leaks

  11. These men work tirelessly to keep things the same. Make it illegal to urinate in public and enforce law.. Build restroom in these spaces..

  12. Nonsenses, there are dozens of rivers in Jamaica, why can’t the government set up a small treatment facility in each community that has a river to supply water to that community and the surrounding communities?

  13. The government yas clearly not been doing their job where water is concerned and well, just about everything else really…

  14. NWC NEED TO CHANGE OUT THE OLD PIPES WHERE NON STOP LEAKAGE OCCURRED. TOO OFTEN THEY DIG UP THE ROAD TO FIX THE PRESSURE OF A LEAK, A FEW DAYS ANOTHER LEAK SOMEWHERE close by ROAD IN IRWIN ST. JAMES A PERFECT EXAMPLE. KMT
