  1. Putin is extatic over these findings. His long term strategy to undermine US society at large.

    1. Putin is much happier that we elected a dementia patient. Hence his increased military presence.

    2. Why Putin? Why always Russia? Come out of your 1950s mindsets. Russia is a third rate mess of a country. Our enemy is China! China is behind COVID and you STILL BLAME RUSSIA??!?

    3. @malooch omg yes. I just said this exact thing. Russia is a joke. Like the Spanish empire in the napoleonic era. A shell of a state trading ONLY on funhouse mirror former glories. Russia is nothing. China is our enemy. Russia has a relatively small population and weak GDP. China doesn’t.

    4. Problem with tagging everyone the mass media disagrees with as conspirators is that more then half of the conspiracies in lasy 100 years were real, what is the saying there just fake until proven real.

  2. “Insanity in individuals is rare, but in groups parties & Nations, it is the rule” – Nietzsche.

    1. The older I get the more I appreciate Nietzsche. Not very comforting but he certainly did see a lot of this coming and his views on the common man are unfortunately true.

    2. @Fletcher Christian I appreciated him since childhood. I always knew humanity were a lost cause.

    1. Riiight… America spends so little on education. We spend a freaking fortune on education. The money is just wasted

    2. Yeah, look where education went. Kids with crappy degrees and a 70k debt!… And teaching nothing but crap

  3. To be honest, it’s not just in the United States that we meet all these people who are detached from reality!

  4. “Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that ‘my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”

    – Isaac Asimov

    1. @DrumWild Just because someone cannot utilise the language correctly does not mean that affects their intellectual ability. Seriously

  5. So this is like Al Qaeda being 1/6th of the population during 9-11

Well democracy was a good experiment while it lasted

  6. Not many. But a signficant enough percentage to be concerning. Shootout to russian disinformation campaign

  7. Maybe we should start our own group. ‘I” for intelligence and put forth reality as conspiracy theories….

    1. In the 2019 survey it was only 5% that believed in a flat earth, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was more now and many of the same people.

  8. When people stand for nothing these kinds of groups are what they fall for which equals out to nothing!
