Putin's speech came on the heels of a surprise and historic visit by Biden to Kyiv. Biden was scheduled to deliver an address from Poland on his view of Russia's war in Ukraine as the conflict approaches the one-year mark. In his nearly two-hour speech to both houses of the Russian Parliament, Putin said he was suspending Moscow's participation in New START – a strategic nuclear arms reduction treaty between the U.S. and Russia.

Putin said this action was being taken because of the U.S. and NATO, without specifying more. "In this regard, I am forced to announce today that Russia is suspending its participation in the strategic offensive arms treaty," he said.

    1. He doesn’t need to make any moves. Biden is making all the moves needed to bring the west down from the inside out.

    2. @Common Sense really? Do u not see what is going on. Why do people that support Russia love to not accept reality?

  1. 🇷🇺 🇨🇳 🇮🇳 🇸🇦 🇧🇷🇮🇷 🇦🇷 🇿🇦🇦🇪 🇹🇷 we stand with our Russian brothers who stood by our side when West was against us.
    It’s now East VS West.
90% of world Population vs 10%
India and china supports Russia because, Russians stood with them in their crucial times.

  2. Real smart go after the guy who has the most nukes, back him into a corner and watch what happens. It’s a no win for anyone.

    1. Yeah you’re right. It’s better to just let him conquer countries smaller and less armed. You hit it right on the nail.

    2. No one will win if he really does do what he’s been threatening to do. The fact that he thinks that threatening everyone to get what he wants will work is stupid. He’s nothing but an overgrown five year old having a tantrum 🤡

  3. I’m pretty sure this war has nothing to do with Ukraine land, the fact that he said “they’re trying to get to our nukes”. Says that his Nukes are most likely positioned somewhere close to the Ukrainian border, he knows once we get Ukraine into NATO we will be able to set up ICBMs right there to shoot any type of hypersonic missile down and fly bombers over Russia instantly. It strategically leaves him pushed into a corner, neither side will give up. If either side gives up they lose their leverage in a major way, it’s all about maintaining leverage which is why both aren’t giving in.
