I was in a traffic jam here in Stockholm today, traffic blocked from both directions and just opposite me was young woman going in the other direction. She looked very sad and depressed so I open up my window and gave her a tumps up and a big smile and got the same back and a wave.
Suddenly she looked a bit happier. Her small red car had a Ukraine registration plates.
