Putin refuses to say the name of his nemesis, and his nemesis refuses to back down

Surviving President Vladimir Putin’s poisoners was just a warm-up, not a warning, for Russian opposition politician Alexey Navalny. But his defiance, according to his political team, has put him in a race against time with the Russian autocrat. #CNN #news

  1. I do not understand, even given the orders and the cruelty coming from the Russian ‘leader’, why there has not been a concerted effort to ‘deal with’ him. Surely there are some folks in the higher political ranks who could put this horrible, cruel leader away. It makes no sense, he must be a very paranoid person to be so afraid of his opposition that he has to lock him up. I feel compassion for the unjustly jailed hero and hope he recovers completely.

    1. Russians are cowardly and lazy. Standing up for what’s right and doing hard work to improve society aren’t in their DNA.

    1. @Aladddin SneakAttack ??!! why would a non russian go to Ru? there’s no social context! Navalny is the spirit of rational, nonpsychopathic thinking, i.e, antithesis of russian power structure today. Ru will be contained over the next period of months and years, or there will be NO economy on earth basically. So buckle up, bcuz Ru is literally going down.

  2. The Russian people are very fond of their icons. Putin has been outmanoeuvred, and his credibility has been permanently damaged by Mr Navalny’s strategy.
The fact that this man actually returned to Russia after being poisoned is a staggering level of courage that I doubt one politician in a thousand would even seriously contemplate.
It is an act of a true leader of men. I salute him for it, and wish him well.

    1. exactly, it’s the apotheosis of strength,, and it invites others to be strong, and foreigners to be strong in opposing the dark side of russian power. We in the united states are increasingly becoming more aware of the threat of Ru, and what it means. Ru will be contained, one way or another. There is no alternative now to containment

    2. Repent and believe in Jesus. John 3:16 KJV – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Luke 13:3 KJV – I tell you nay: but except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV – Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

So, you trust Putin’s “Justice system”. Not much point in talking to you as it seems to go after everyone who opposes Putin.

  3. To go back to Russia after Russian operatives already tried to kill you with a nerve agent takes a man of true conviction. He is a real hero.

    1. @Ann Jonson Who is a criminal – Navalny? or the criminal Mafia State that controls the Judiciary.
Well Ann – state on what criteria that Navalny is a criminal. I suppose you are an expert in criminal law.

    2. @Lobbo You declare Wrong! so easily… yet you do so because you are a small person, it’s difficult for you to understand the strength of character needed to risk your life for your country as he did. The willingness to risk sacrificing your life to draw attention to the oppression of freedom.

    3. @Ann Jonson I thik you know he is not a criminal simply for speaking up against Putin. That Putin is the criminal for ordering the attempt on his life. For arresting him with out cause. For denying his medical treatment.

  4. The West must do everything to help Mr. Navalny. Also, they must do everything in their power to bring down Putin’s murderous regime.

Let me try to take this to a level you might grasp. Suppose there is a guy who has done a lot of bad things in his life. One day, he encounters a man trying to rape a young woman, and he decides to try to stop it. Maybe it is just because he hates rape, or maybe it is at least partly because his daughter lives near there, and he does not want this predator roaming her streets.

Is he wrong to do this? Do you question how many crimes he has not stopped? A good thing is a good thing – PERIOD. Should we do fewer bad things and more good things? Sure! Ukraine is no more special than Chechnya was long ago – but given their location and abilities it was not possible to save them from the rapist.

Why do you mention communism? There is nothing inherently undemocratic about it. The same is true of capitalism, which also has a long history of trying to destroy the voice of the people.

The problem is that most every fed up nation who had communist/socialist revolutions just traded capitalist dictators for communist dictators.

This has nothing to do with communism – it is authoritarians vs freedom. Russia is no longer socialist – they are capitalism run wild. They are also a “democracy” – I am sure it is mere coincidence that Putin’s side always wins by a landslide.

  5. He’s the leader Russia should really have. A symbol of hope for a nation lost to the clutches of a gangster and his creatures.

    1. the only difference between Navalny and Putin is that Putin wants to destroy the world with nuclear weapons tomorrow, and Navalny the day after tomorrow. Navalny is the same imperialist as Putin, that is why he has so much support from the people. If you look at his speeches on understanding the Russian language, it becomes quite clear that Navalny wants to create a new Russian empire without corruption with a powerful army not only on paper but also in reality. Currently, about 80% of Russians support the war in Ukraine, and half of these people support Navalny, not Putin. Navalny and Putin have the same goal of creating a new Russian empire, only Putin wants to “rule like Stalin and live like Musk” and Navalny wants to create a really strong army, an honest government, a fair police and so that the people of Russia do not suffer. But the goal of these two people is not different.

  6. Pray for him🙏 No reconciliation in South Africa without Mandela… Navalny is essential for Russia’s Future 🤗❤️

    1. @Ann Jonson The fun part about people like you is that your YouTube-profiles are ALWAYS like in ALWAYS created after February 24th 2022 – meaning after the Russian invasion of the Ukraine. To me that smells so badly of “Russian bot”

    1. Maybe you are second guessing yourself. I am not.
100% American Patriot doing what we do best , help each other. God Bless America 🇺🇸

    2. @D S not alone he can’t. The Russian People have to have had enough, first, and they’re so used to taking so much, I’m afraid they may never be able to.

  7. I have re-watched Lord of the Rings again, recently and I cannot help but see the resemblance between Alexey Navalny and Frodo. To enter the heart of darkness knowing it will almost certainly take your life is a rare and precious form of courage. Bless you, Alexey. May your path bring freedom from tyranny to Russia. Let sanity prevail. may you come home safely to your family.
