Putin has backed himself into a corner. The West needs to continue to put pressure on him that regime has many flaws. The west was against the the soviet collapse because they thought it would be too unpredictable. Putin need to look honestly at history Gorbachev saved Russia from even a worse catastrophe by allowing to slowly and peacefully disintegrate but putin didn’t learn the lesson he’s still a holding a grudge against the west since the soviet days.
