  1. They weren’t protesting against all imports of pork and beef. They are only against allowing the pork and beef with Ractopamine which is banned by many countries.

    1. @R ma Not knowing the whole story, I tend to agree. But China is a real threat to any country in the world and Canada isn’t a threat to most. Pissing off the CCP and getting raised tariffs, among other negative actions, isn’t going to help Canada any; all so Taiwan can say to Xi that they are the real government. It’s all downside for Canada and in the end, it really won’t do much to convince the CCP to give up China, one of the worlds largest economies.

  2. Not a word about WHY they are upset.. Is it because it hurts local pig/beef production? They dislike USA? So why are they rabidly upset about it.
