That’s all well and good, but it’s falling on deaf ears. Those who have taken the virus seriously will continue to do so, and the logically-challenged who haven’t will continue to not. And no amount of facts or reason will sway them. We’re quarantined with the insane.
I disagree! Some of those who deny or speak against mask will learn the hard way. Either by becoming infected or seeing a love one suffer! It is sad!
@Robert b For some, perhaps, but for far too many others in obstinate denial, I don’t believe anything will ever change their mind. Personally, I’ve had five family members and/or friends die of the virus (ranging in age from early 40s to early 80s), plus an additional four who’ve contracted the disease but survived. In every case but one, they took the threat seriously and followed necessary precautions. Most fell ill by either visiting the hospital for other issues (ie. cancer) or by being in a high-risk profession (ie. nurse, teacher, and EMT). And yet despite that, there remain in my extended family a number who believe that it is a hoax meant to make Trump look bad. It’s infuriating! And I live in the the northeast, surrounded by those who, by and large, recognize how serious the situation is. I couldn’t imagine living in certain deep red states where reality is an illusion.
I will be cautious and take the vaccine when it’s available. It’s on you whether or not you want to risk your life and those who you care for.
If the public doubled down on Covid safety, it would hit the barest minimum safety they should have been following for the past 9 months.

Elite schools with excess resources can hold school with relative safety. Most schools do not have sufficient resources.
Exactly…are those few students who do get covid expendable…oh right the statistics are skewed against minorities so its ok.

This so called vaccine is not entirely 100% effective. Once you take it, you either survive or you’ll die as many already have after taking it as guinea pigs. The fact that not enough data is available because donald trump didn’t want this “virus” to alarm his shareholders at the costs of millions of lives gives you the big picture on how far he will go to get reelected.
It didn’t happened and we’re glad for it.
The transition will happen for Joe Biden no matter what donald tries. The military is on standby to escort him off the White House should it be necessary, to the courts to charge him of every single crimes he has committed while “serving” “his” country.
