The lcbo is offering 0.75 for the retro pay for pandemic three year contract that was unconstitutional by Ont Superior Court. AND ITS LUMP SUM ! NOT an increase .
Wow. That is terrible. Truly awful. Not like LCBO isnβt making money hand over fist ether. Just terrible.
Please don’t take that 9%. The government can do alot more. Its unfair that that the MPs and ministers have given themselves up to 11% why can’t the working class get the same. This is so sad and unfair.
Government doesn’t have any money of its own. It is our money that you are asking being paid more to these greedy employees.
β@Bahman Yaghoobi how can an employee be greedy? Making 50k a year? You don’t know what you’re talking about.
they are never going back
Whippie
I get 3% per year at my high tech job, why should government workers get more?
β@Vincent Montplaisir a private business doesn’t have unlimited funds
Why is there a wage disparity between public sector jobs and private sector jobs.
@Robert So don’t ask for unlimited pay. Ask for pay that roughly keeps up with inflation.
You deserve more… go get it…
@Michael Anderson Is there?
They are not really asking for anything crazy from what I can tell. Wage parity with inflation is what anybody should ask for.
They can leave. Tax payers are burden as is, we don’t need a massive government apparatus that does f all.
Pay increase I agree with ,some of the other garbage is outrageous..
Just force them back π
it doesnt work like that when you have powerful union….
Tell me that the government isn’t still at 9%. The union was at 13.5, which is already slightly below inflation…and the union has moved down from that number (maybe very slightly).
Stick your guns guys!! You got this!!
It’s so embarrassing. They want 13.5% and stay home..what a slap in the face to the worker at Tim Hortons, that would love a 9% raise..and they don’t stay home.
I’d like to see them block me. Entitled goofs
Tim Horton’s workers can apply for federal government jobs. And if Timmy wants to retain them, he should think about giving better pay and working conditions.
Private sector is lucky to get 2 percent
Ontario min wage is going up 10% this year in October.
Private sector needs more unions
Then cut 13.5% of the workforce and keep top performers.
Cant wait until pollievre gets in and starts making cuts.
immediate vote of non-confidence to follow…
prepare to get no service if that ever happens
Our schoolboy Skippy is not responsible enough to handle scissors
Nothing like pitting workers against other workers to get others to conform. The nail that sticks out attracts the hammer. Imagine wanting your workers to essentially accept a cut because of gov policies and spending.
9% increase please give cpp the same increase
Airport delays sound great!
