@Felix Romero Personally and as a Syrian, Putin has shown much more loyalty to us than the US ever did and ever will, and yet the US feels entitled to our oil (To quote the president: left the troops ‘only for the oil’) not to mention all the crimes against humanity that have been committed on Syrians in the past 10 years, which we have not seen during the past 50 years where Russia was in alliance with Syria. To put it simply, Russia has aided us through the hellish decade by offering VISAs such as student visas and work visas, funded our infrastructure, been one of our few trade partners and overall made the lives of Syrians less of a hell hole. The US, on the other hand, has contributed to this scene by increasing sanctions and pressuring the EU to apply sanctions on Syria, restricting VISAs, funding ISIS and Al Qaeda to quote the foreign minister ‘in the interest of Israel’ and overall, really just contributed to a mess that it doesn’t plan on cleaning.
