Nature doin what nature does
Not news imo
@MrFitness94 not exactly bc this is a direct result of climate change so humans increased its chances of falling
The storm wouldnt have been as bad if it werent for climate change
erosion acts in mysterious ways
Climate change.
It’s sad to lose such a unique rock formation and tourist attraction..
@ForrestTheBoar Yeah because there weren’t any storms before humans.
better to be destroyed by nature than by tourists, teenagers or islamic jihadis
@SubArc Adventures I was about to say exactly that
I think there were no injuries on pei during fiona. We can make do without a rock.
Every rock is unique
Nature built it and nature destroyed it.
I forgot the storm is called Fiona, so I thought like a group of Fiona’s did something LMAO
SAME 😭
Same lol
As someone who is only aware of the storm and the character from the shrek series, what else is a Fiona and where might you find a ‘group of Fiona’s’ ?
@FaLsEiNqUiSiTiOn Fiona apple’s fan club?
That’s pretty dumb of you since Fiona wasn’t pluralized.
when I was younger this rock was so large it looking like a elepant, didnt think in my lifetime would i see that get whittled away by mother nature.
This just breaks my heart. It was so beautiful. The weather truly is a harsh mistress.
its now a boulder under the sea
@R.i.p Ashley bamboo 🇺🇸 you just don’t understand clearly, Rock lives matter.
It’s a rock dude
@Carlo Montèè Why would they spend intentionally all this money making the weather worse? What’s the logic in this?
@R.i.p Ashley bamboo 🇺🇸 So is the entire earth. And yet its beautiful and complex.
Never thought i’d have feelings for a rock.
You still shouldn’t
I was just there few weeks ago during the last week of the summer break and it’s craaazy how it’s gone now!! Thank goodness I took pictures of that beautiful teacup rock!!
It’s a rock dude. Relax
>thousand of houses destroyed
>lol
>rock falls
>NOOO NOT THE ROCK
Nature creates and nature destroys. Teacup was a beautiful formation.
Never even knew the rock was there
The Buddha told his student, ‘Every morning I drink from my favorite teacup. I hold it in my hands and feel the warmth of the cup from the hot liquid it contains. I breathe in the aroma of my tea and enjoy my mornings in this way. But in my mind the teacup is already broken.’
Fiona must be a really mean lady??? To destroy that beautiful rock!
Only 10,000 years ago Canada was covered in a glacier that was nearly a mile high. Amazing how nature can renew the planet so fast.
It still feels like it is where I live
New monument names “The rock formerly known as Tea Cup rock” or “Saucer rock”
While it is sad, it is Mother Nature…. Unlike some of the natural wonders around some parts of the world that are destroyed by vandalism i.e: Duckbill rock in Oregon…
I am sad that this iconic rock was destroyed makes me sad.
I don’t know. I think this rock formation looks just as beautiful now as it did before. It looks a bit like a turtle now. Maybe I’ll visit Turtle Rock next summer. Oh, and go on the Peddle Pub!
“A rock fell down”
This is literally the highlight of news in prince Edward Island. Frankly I’m surprised the suicide rate isn’t higher than it is
Now I can finally go to my grave knowing that the teacup is no longer there
Coffee Cup rock 3 miles east was untouched though ‘ thank heavens’
