Canada has one of the highest per capita emissions in the world. Twice as high as most of Europe. Twice as high as China. 3 times higher than most human beings on earth. Judy because we are a small country doesn’t mean our emissions don’t matter. Every country big and small has an obligation to reduce emissions. Europe is investing massively in renewable energy and electric vehicles. China spends more than any country on renewable energy a year. Even America has switched largely to natural gas reducing their emissions. We are still addicted to our large trucks, large homes, meat heavy wasteful diets. Our homes are 70% larger than Europe and cost that much more to heat. Our car emissions standards are some of the worst in the world.
