Sonia, that is how it usually ends up… sadly auctions never get much of the value back, which was also the big caveat when they talked about the forfeitures included in Manafort’s conviction/indictment… it looks a bit more impressive on paper than at the end in the federal coffers.
@Ugly German Truths They can ship the cash/truck/boat/earth moving equipment to PR; they can use the boat as an emergency alternative means of transport, the truck/2 caterpillars would have been required to repair/rebuild damaged areas.

More important is the ability and willingness to lie on behalf of the administration. I don’t think the corruption got them fired or withdrawn, but rather their inability to create half-assed lies to cover their tracks.
