And who got it right? Yes he downplayed the virus, I can agree with that, but so did every other local and state leader, hell we could probably say most of the world leaders got it wrong.
From what I can tell now the first death in the US was back on Feb 6th, so virus was probably spreading first or second week of Jan, before any warning, before WHO even started talking about it, even then they said no human to human transmission etc.
France is now saying they had a case from Dec 27th. This was spreading way earlier than anyone knew. There is no way in hell anyone could have stopped this.
And if you can show me anyone in government that took it seriously before Feb 25th I would like to see it. At least Trump did the task for, travel restrictions, went to congress for cash to fight it on Feb 24th, what was everyone that now says he didn’t do enough back then doing? Yeah Trump screwed up but the same people that are saying he didn’t do enough were doing nothing, we can’t give them a pass now.
