This is what happens when you rid government of highly qualified officials in place of political loyalists. Democrats need to scream from the rooftops that Trump cut the CDC budget in 2018 and dismantled agencies that was formed to work with the CDC. This is a failure of leadership and competence. The World Health Organization needs to figure out why most of these viruses come out of China?
Dismantling of such agencies should require consent from Congress to avoid depleting essential government protection efforts.

+Rachelle Revis Expanding the CDC budget won’t help our health in the same way putting more money into education doesn’t help our kids. People need to realize that Trump is the feature, not the bug. If you think that the director of the CDC gives a dang about the health and welfare of the people, you’re mistaken. Like the NRA, the top doesn’t care. The bottom line is the bottom line for those people. The CDC should have their budget cut if not eliminated. Trump has done little in removing the excess spending with these industries, including the defense industry and the pharmaceutical industry.
Reap what you sow, that’s what happens when incompetent, unqualified, and unprepared individuals to positions that they have no business being in nor running them. No surprise and no end in sight.
