    1. @Scott Dorsey .Everyone has their own way of expressing things… Also, an earthquake is a natural event, and the word “unnatural” is incorrect

  1. I lost a friend the other week in Turkey… One of my best friends felt this in Lebanon earlier. Prayers ain’t gonna do anything but make you feel better about yourselves. Donate if you really wanna do something useful

    1. @Brenda Masinde so repentance will rebuild the homes destroyed by this earthquake? And generate food and running water for all the victims?

    2. @Dawnie B. Of course yes repentance has power..
IN the book of Matthew in the bible it says seek ye first the kingdom of GOD and all the other things will be added unto you..
And remember all this GOD is doing do we may know that earth is not our home.. We are just the passby..

    3. @Improperly Labeled Loser I’m so sorry about your friend 🙁 You’re absolutely right, that praying, showing empathy, and having hope are important; 100%. I think it’s just the people who like to lurk in the comments and preach about religion and prayer being the ONLY important thing, that many find offensive. I find it ridiculous that the bible thumpers always show up whenever there’s a disaster like this in order to, as you put it, try to shame others because of their OWN beliefs — and by repeatedly posting about how they think the rest of us should be worshiping, they distract from the victims, their fellow humans, who are so desperately in need of immediate help from THEIR fellow humans. The arrogance is appalling.

    4. At 67 years old, I’ve come to the conclusion that if there is a God, I just don’t understand how a baby is raped and God allowed it to happen! I believe it’s all cause and effect! Its very easy to believe in an invisible God for most people, but I’m definitely going to need some more tangible evidence other than a Bible that was written by human beings!
But I’m also not against you having faith in one!

    5. @Kalinysta Zvoruna there’s no type of sense that can convince a religious nut like her. When I run across the likes of her, I’ve learned just to appreciate I have some common sense that is not guaranteed for all. The brain is a mysterious organ.

  2. My heart and thoughts go out to the people of the area of Turkey!! 6.4 is pretty strong!! Something is going on with the tectonic plates and movement of magma way deep down. I fear this is just the start of even more unstability of the Earth in that area 😔

    1. All over the world. Watch Dutchsense on you tube and others and you will learn alot about quakes. He actually called these 5 days before the first one happened in Turkey. He knows this stuff. Usgs should hire him actually

    2. Luke 21:11
And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

    3. The real tragedy happened there in 1915 , when the the people who live there now came and killed , in the most roofless way 1,5 million Armenians who were living there for 3,600 Years !

  3. As for sending money, ONLY donate to extremely well known experienced relief organizations ONLY with good track records, PLEASE!

  4. That is tragic. The complete loss of your whole family at such a critical stage in your life along with the fright of a major earthquake. But then that’s an understatement about loss because yes, these people, many of them, if not all, HAVE lost everything. I can’t even begin to understand since I’m not there, the misery they’re experiencing. I’m sitting in the comfort of my home. Easy for me to say, it’s tragic!

    1. Did you see the report about how developers got around regulations that’s why there’s so much lost their because the buildings they put up were built earthquake unsafe

  5. I’ve experienced just once an EQ of 5.2 magnitude, and I thought the world was going under. I can’t even imagine what a 7.8 must feel like.

    1. @raymond echo I hope they experience a 10? What do you mean by that? Would you please explain so that we understand?

    2. @raymond echo It makes us happy that you say that, it shows how envious you are, it makes me happy to see your fury

    3. @black blink envious of you? lol crazy as hell anybody that has to make up delusions of grandeur do it because of feelings of inadequacy. and no i did not like my own comment. People might not like what I said but they have more like you can download it it doesn’t matter but people keep liking the comment because well some people don’t like that region of the world for good reasons to have good reasons.

  6. So biazarre. This reminds me of the second shooting that just occurred at the college in the US while everyone was still grieving the first… sending my ❤ to you all, turkey!

  7. What I can’t wrap my mind around is, where do all these people go? How do millions get help with immediate shelter and food for even just a few weeks, let alone months and maybe years? When things like floods and tornadoes happen here in the U.S., most often neighboring schools, town halls, etc., will serve as shelters initially, but we never have to deal with millions of people at a time. I just can’t comprehend how traumatic this must be.😢

    1. There is an anti-homeless system in Turkey. People are placed in dormitories located in regional cities. In addition, large tents and containers are provided. Turkish people are helpful people and some landlords rent houses to earthquake victims free of charge. Even if the Erdogan government is bad and incompetent, Turkish people always help each other in the worst conditions.

  8. God help all these people 🙏🙏🙏🙏 it makes me sick when I think of the amount of money given to support a war and these poor people are destroyed through no fault of their own. When will we ever learn??

  9. I felt this earthquake in cyprus today next door to the fault line in Syria 🇸🇾 we felt it at 7.38pm here before hitting Syria & 🇹🇷 I am near Ayia Napa in cyprus 🇨🇾

  10. The world is on fire right now…we, in the U.S. are experiencing loss and devastation on levels personally and collectively, as well! LORD, help! Help OUR world! NOW PLEASE, MERCY to anyone suffering…

  11. The death of a friend or a loved one is very hard to bear, how much more losing a whole family in such a horrible earthquake. My thoughts and prayers

  12. How beautiful would it be if every single person on this planet would put their weapon down. Send the money that is used for war to aid for victims of tragedy. Spread love instead of hate ❤️
Humankind is forgetting how fragile life is. How much we need to protect it. And that we all need help.

  13. Could the explosions that occurred in the sun at the end of last week be related to the recent earthquake that struck Turkey and the neighboring region?
